Baby Hunting - Sharp - May 06 2021 Near the heart of Cetus was a tree. The remains of a tree, to be more specific. And when Sharp approached it, the spiny lizard's scales drenched in mud, she decided it was pretty lame. The wood was splintered and burnt. Signs of a battle scarred the ground. But Sharp didn't care about the historical significance of this stump, she was just looking for something shiny to sell or refine. And so far, this was the least shiniest thing she'd ever seen. She clambered onto an exposed root and shook herself with a grumble. Muck splattered on the ground. But as Sharp shook her head, she caught the faintest glimpse of something shiny buried in the mud. Hm? RE: Baby Hunting - Sharp - May 06 2021 The sungazer sniffled closer, ignoring the grime sticking to her just-cleaned scales. A shiny? Shiny thing? Shiny she could hoard, or sell? She pounced beneath the roots of the befallen monument and began to dig. Her claws were shoddy in wet mud, but it sufficed enough. A hard shape emerged, she latched her paws around it, and out she dug... ... a black shiny! A black shiny stone! Well, it took a bit of wiping before Sharp discovered the "shiny" part. It's smooth surface dazzled her yellow eyes. She sniffed it once or twice and decided she liked this one. She wasn't going to sell it, oh no. It'll go right on top her growing pile of beautiful crystals! She popped it between her jaws and scampered away. Oh, if only she had her cart with her. |
