MAGICKA LEVEL 100%
RESTORED TO 100%
(thread take 2 shut up)
Veil had been watching the river.
he'd watch the fish. he'd poke one, if they got close enough. his eyes felt heavy, and with a yawn, he decided a nap was a good idea. why wouldn't it be? infinitely peaceful, they slumbered as the sound of rushing water filled their ears.
they must have fallen in at some point, because the chunk of moonstone, previously easily mistaken for a buried rock beneath the very edge of the river bank, was shaking.
his existence, or atleast, the awareness of it, came down like a gentle drizzle of rain. barely noticeable but disturbing the surface of a peaceful lake all the same.
he awoke, all eyes flickering onto the inner-walls of their chrysalis, dark save for the gentle rippled of light reflecting off of them. it was darkness, what they came into and what they will become in again.
they used to be small, the creature not more than a cycle old by the time the sleep took them, and now they were uncomfortably large, pressing against the sides of the stone painfully.
a shift, a slither, and a push, and the rock came undone. it broke, the pieces of moonstone and the cloud of murky, magic fluid washing away in an instant. there was light, at last.
climbing out of the water, body soaked, he sneezed. "it is wet." he observed, not a huge fan of this development. it was alone, which was surprising. polaris usually had others here.
how long had it been?? they were small, but now he is big. he feel fuller. and as he sits up to his haunches the floor is now considerably further away from their face than the last time they sat like this.
how long? were there others who knew them that would remember, that still walked around today? what of the thing-with-spots? of the horse that carried death?
it was darkness, but it was also... quite lonely.
