Species: Mystery Birds + American Alligator hybrid
Appearance: Approx. 13 feet at the head, this hybrid stands on two muscular but bird-like hind legs. Forelimbs, birdlike and featuring a fan of feathers, function as basic hands. The head is very alligator-like, with strong jaws; it has mint-green eyes matching the chunk of green quartz jutting up from the skull. More feathers cascade down the neck in a crest, provide a shaggy cloak around the throat and down the back, and huge, broad feathers puff out in a tuft over the ridged tail. The wings are capable of true flight, and the creature can also swim fairly well, but will need to take time to dry and preen feathers after swimming before flight or risk damaging the feathers through misuse. A smaller, second pair of wings is positioned lower down the body, and usually hidden beneath the folded upper ones. The feathers are black, but iridescent like a grackle's, creating shifting hues of blue and violet across his body.
