So a LOT of the Collector's tasks in Requisite Stuff boil down to "Make a new friend :)" so this is a place specifically for organizing those kinds of threads. Keep in mind that something bad will probably happen to those 'friends' although until two weeks pass it's impossible to know what that risk will be. I doubt perma-death is on the table, but pretty much anything else is. Only respond with characters who you're willing to gamble with.

Also, if you're going to help with multiple tasks using the same character make sure everybody you're helping knows in case two or more of those tasks end up being mutually exclusive. Likewise, if you're seeking help with a task, you probably want one or two extra 'candidates' just in case one of them is unable to help for whatever reason.

Task Description: "Make a new friend and earn their trust." Horizon is less likely to use a baby gembound for this because they'd feel really guilty about it. They're also more inclined to befriend someone who shares a similar interest in magic, although that doesn't matter as much in this circumstance.

Hog is very agreeable, so, anyone could work! But, she is also only 2 cycles old, so it's understandable that others may not see her as a knowledgeable authority!

Task Description: Luna has been asked to get another Gembound to fall DEEPLY IN LOVE WITH THEM. OR make a close friend, but I agree with the collector that the alternative is boring and a lot less funny. I also, like Luna, don't believe in monogamy so this is open to anyone.

Luna is a monster-enjoyer but will tolerate more "normal" looking Gembound. barely. Failure is acceptable and encouraged though ultimately i DO want her to woo at least one person successfully for the reward

I also think it'd be really funny if they went to mama balorma to be wed before the time limit, because divorce is a really likely outcome for this event, knowing the collector's proclivities, and im pretty sure itd be the first legal divorce on origin?

Helping who: @Hog October wouldn't call itself a loyal follower, but it would agree to learn whatever Hog teaches them because why not? So if the agreeing to learning is the important part, it could be one of the three!

@Luna I think Aethereal and Rena could both be potential options. Aethereal is a Valkhound who is not aligned with the Forge and mostly just wanders with her pet rat. I think after many years of basically doing nothing she would be fascinated by Luna's driven hunger and extensive vocabulary. As a headless being she will also be able to provide Luna with unique anatomy to study. Rena is a double-sided Hive worm with fractal worms in her anatomy and dedicated to being a warrior who can protect and defend the Hive. However she lost (badly) her very first fight and has never gotten over it. I think she would see Luna's buglike shape as something familiar and something she instinctively wants to protect as well, while sharing her fascination with viciousness and lethality from a different perspective (wanting to be it rather than study it). I think it would also be hilarious for a Hive member to go through a whirlwind romance and terrible betrayal (I assume) with everyone else in the Hive watching commenting and judging.
