Instead she watched as his head slipped under the water and excitement filled her. Jumping to her feet her face dipped as close to the water as she could manage and her tag wagged fervently. What would he find down there? Her mind ran rampant at the with ideas of what could be tucked away at the bottom. As he slipped deeper the glittering fish receded giving way to his obtrusion into their home. Could he see through the murky depths for at this point his face had disappeared from sight. The seconds felt like hours and at last the male was pulling back her whole body began to shake with jubilant enthusiasm. The grin that was already smeared across her face grew wider as she watched his lips parted and what she saw there did not disappoint. It was certainly shiny and the color reminded her of home, Eridanus was filled with colors such as this, but this was special in its own way. In a moment the dragons head dipped down releasing the stone and pushing it to her. The movement pushed at instinct and she was quick to pounce on the stone and put it in her mouth to confirm what it was. Yup it was definitely a rock and the texture was smooth and soothing on aching milk teeth. After a long minute her focus shifted from the ball back to her Da. Lifting her mouth from the stone she gave it a nudge with her nose to send it rolling back. Of course he must want to play with it too and she was willing to share the prize. “Do you wanna go to the festival?”

The dragon was immensely pleased that the small ball did not disappoint his little daughter. She pounce don it immediately and began to chew at the stone like a happy child. The dragon gave an approving grunt before lying down near the small child and curling his large body partway around her like a sort of barrier to keep the ball from accidentally falling back into the water. The tuft of his tail wagged happily while he watched her and then increased in tempo when the child nudged the ball back to him. Was this some sort of play? Could they roll the ball back and forth?

One of the dragon's sharp claws gently alighted on the stone and held it in place before he lowered his head and gave the ball another tap with his nose horn. This time it was a little harder and sent the ball a little faster towards the Rauslin Pup. He didn't want to hit it too hard and send it rolling too far away but he also wanted this little game to be a bit more fun for her so she could actively chase the new toy. Of course, he was also enjoying playing with the little toy which was evident with that tapping tail and the smile on his massive jowls. It was a nice, easy game that even a war-torn cripple like him could enjoy.

My hands are ahead the Clouds From the clap-clap thunder looking down Rauslin stayed focus on the ball eyes not parting though a large spread across her face when the dragon caught it. It seemed he debated what what to do next before sending rolling it back faster than she'd sent it. Of course this lead to a squeal of excitement erupting from her as she went skittering after the toy. To say that she was enjoying this would be an understatement and they continued their back and forth game until she found her self winded. Breath huffing out of her chest as if its one true desire was to escape her lungs. Turning eyes at last upwards a large yawn parted across her jowls it seemed fatigue had come calling for the young girl. Blinking slowly she spoke words soft in a tender question. “Da I'm sleepy is Mama gonna take us back home?” The mare was no longer in sight and she had to wonder where the dark creature had gone. They were going back to Eridanus today weren't they? To think that the female that served as her nurturer was gone didn't dance at all across her mind. Of course this would change when they found that Delphine had taken her leave unannounced. For now all the girl worried about was being allowed to attain some shut eye soon. “Do you wanna go to the festival?”
