Winter stopped running and so did the other gembounds. Nyxie had gotten distracted yet again. Rose and Nyx were always getting distracted by food. Winnie rarely got distracted unless it was a rodent or a rabbit maybe even sometimes it if Winter heard something might be dangerous like another predator that was looking to score two prey such as Onyx and Rosalie. Clara, River and Winter wouldnt dare let anyone near their friends. If that were to happen the predator would wish that they hadnt met the carnie squad as they referred to themselves. Winnie laid down and kept her eyes and ears open for danger.

Noticing that her friends all stopped made Rose stop and want to eat too. She stuck her horned head down into the foliage and started to mound on a brush near her. From her eyeline the pied reindeer saw Winnie lay down and check for intruders the gembound didnt like the fact that intruders would do anything to eat her or Nyx. Now that she had a full set of antlers on her head, Rosa didnt have to worry about getting attacked or hurt because she was now able to protect herself. She looked up as she ate also keeping an ear out for any intruders but caught nothing. She laid down after awhile and slept for a bit while keeping her ears opened.

Clara cleaned her paws and back while the others started to relax. She stood up and stretch. The striped feline knew that it was time for hunting to get River, Winnie and herself something good to eat. Maybe bring back rabbits then go back out and drag a deer or something back to the den they had made. Lets just say it was a nice cave that was big enough to have five gembounds sleep in. They mainly cuddled up to each other well all but the spotted horse. She didnt lay down and if she did it was only for a few minutes the Nyx would stand back up. Clary walked over to Winter and nuzzled her shoulder. "I am going to go out with Riv and get us a nice meal." Clara whispered.

Relaxing by their den with the others, River watched the chase finally come to a playful end for them. It was nice to play, but River liked protecting and training herself to keep everyone safe. River usually rough housed with Clara but that was it. She didnt want to hurt her friend Winter with her speed and agility as well as her claws. Lately the King Cheetah laid relaxing in the shade and hunting for the carnie squad. River stood up when she her the white tiger whisper to Winnie about going hunting for them. The speedster knew that Rose and Nyx didnt like knowing what they ate or killed. They rarely hunting deer instead they usually brought back three rabbits for the three of them. and maybe some twigs or something for the herbie squad.

The day was a great day as any other day was. She was enjoying a chase and eating well. She had great friends and protectors as well as a great den to sleep in and keep warm in. The spotted horse looked around at her friends her beautiful tail flicking quick. She shook her head sending long mane to the other side. Bending down again, Nyxie ate more listening around her. Alot could happen to them if no one was watching them. Normally the gembound would dig at the ground if there was danger but she didnt need to right at the moment because there was no danger what so ever.
