Once Kallista was certain Todd was following her, she started walking. She wasn't sure where to go, so she just picked a direction and walked. Looking behind her, it seemed as though he was walking a bit better. She walked a bit slower, making sure she wasn't going too fast for the fox. She looked around as she walked. The floor was still slick and wet, and she nearly slipped a couple of times, but managed to keep herself upright.
@Todd this is incredibly late and also very short i'm sorry-

It seemed Todd was just about used to walking again, as he shuffled forward an inch every step. The rock was still slick under his paws and the sound of the waterfall still roared in his ears. Occasionally his gem would slip and he'd tens for a moment before walking onwards, strides gradually lengthening. Finally he felt he was able to break into a trot, and sprayed little drops from his fur as his body bobbed up and down. He couls see the cat ahead of him and picked up the pace until he was alongside her, only to slip and flinch, paws squarely placed and his body balanced low. But he stayed upright, at least. Serves him right for showing off...
((@Kallista- Don't worry about it! ^w^))

Eventually, the fox stood alongside her. The two walked around, heading in no particular direction. At one point, Todd slipped. His paws were squarely placed, body low. He somehow managed to stay upright. "Maybe this isn't the best place to be," she mused. "It's awfully slippery, certainly no place for someone who has a bit of trouble walking to be."

Todd couldn't remember the way he'd entered, and it wasn't much warmer even with the waterfall's roar gradually fading until it was more the remaining echoes that stung his ears. He was mainly following Kallista, but what didn't cross his mind was that perhaps she was just following him. With the condensation hanging heavy on the air, it certainly felt like they were delving deep into the unknown. "...Huh?" Todd looked at her, confused, ears twitching slightly. He'd never considered that the placement of his gem hindered him. He was perhaps just used to it, or assumed it was the same for everyone. "You struggle at walking? You wanna bit of help? I can help, I'm strong!" Todd seemed excited at the opportunity, hopped up and down, and slipped again, falling on his belly with legs splayed.

As the two walked, Kallista noticed that it was getting to be even colder than it was originally. She had no idea where she was, for she had been walking absentmindedly. She turned to look at Todd and grunted. "I have no trouble walking. It's you that has trouble." She watched as the fox slipped and landed on his belly. "As you can clearly see. While you have, admittedly, gotten better at walking, you seem to still fail at something as simply as that." She sat down and stared at Todd, waiting for him to get up. "We're going to have to find a way to get back to where we had come from, but how?" she murmured, mostly to herself.

It seemed like they hadn't quite gotten it. Todd, for one, hadn't. He hated to delve deeper into the matter but he was stubborn, and he knew that he was fine. The cub pushed himself to his paws. "That's not true. I can walk just fine." Todd's skin prickled at the unkind words and unfamiliar feelings welled in his chest again. Todd took the chance to shake violently, knocking himself back down but at the same time soaking everything in the nearby vicinity. Dizzily, he heaved himself back up. "I can't clearly see anything!" He huffed and drooped his ears. "I dunno. In a while we'll be out. That's how it always happens for me." Todd had gotten here by chance, and clearly that was how he expected to leave.

"Uh-huh, sure you can," Kallista grunted. As Todd shook violently, she leaped backwards as she began to get wet. "Hey!" She lashed her tail before sighing. "Well, I want to get out as soon as possible." This place was wet, and she was starting to hate it. "Let's go," she murmured and continued walking. At this point, she didn't much care if Todd followed her. She just wanted to get out of here. Eventually, she came across a tunnel. She briefly wondered if the fox had even been following her before dismissing the thought. She didn't care, she just wanted to get out. She walked through the tunnel, wondering where it led.
@Todd Exit Kallista i guess aha-

The cat seemed to agree with him, and that was a victory in Todd's book. The silver fox flicked his tail and nodded, clearly satisfied. As much as Todd felt like being awkward today, he had to agree on that front. He didn't like the feeling and the cold that clung to his fur and he hated the cold that accompanied it. Wordlessly though, he followed close behind as she lead him on. Or at least, he tried to. Right before they reached the tunnel, he slipped again, collapsing onto his chest. The cat disappeared into the tunnel ahead of him. "Hey!" he called. "Wait for me!" but when he finally stumbled to his paws and bounded after, they seemed to have disappeared without trace, leaving Todd wet, cold, and alone.
