Secret Santa, Dirty Santa, and the Gifting Tree
For those that have signed up for the holiday events
Secret Santa and
Dirty Santa, the festivities have begun! Participants have been randomly matched up and PM'ed the person that they are making their gift for regarding Secret Santa, and the Dirty Santa gift picking and stealing has begun! If you're participating in either of these events, be sure to drop in and check out what's up! Both events will close on December 24th, so especially if you're participating in Secret Santa, make sure your gift is done by then!
Maji Walezi Events
Bevy has called
another Maji Walezi meeting to cover several of the events that have recently taken place in the cave, including the advent of children, the expiration of Cancer's exile and an invitation for the former leader to rejoin the group, and the election of a brand new leader! If you have characters in Maji Walezi or that may have a relation to the group, don't forget to join in!
Children of Rot Events
The Children of Rot also have a few events going on! In
Feed The Beast, members of the CoR are having a contest to see who can catch the most food for Aquarian! In
Silent Night, the Rots are daring to decorate the great Divine, which has punished curious Gembounds for getting too close in the past... will the tree tolerate being humiliated for the holidays?!
Prey Account
Origin now has a functional
Lesser Gembound account that functions as a prey account for characters who want to add a little bit of unpredictability to their hunts. While this is primarily a Game Master account, the staff will be happy to either play this account upon request, or give someone the password if they would like to play the prey in a thread themselves. All you have to do is ask staff for the password! Keep in mind that we will be regularly changing the password, so if you find you can't log back in, you may have to ask for it again.
Reminders
As usual, we'd like to remind you guys about a few things...
Vote for Origin!
At the bottom of the index in our affiliates section we have a button for Animus Top 50. If you'd like to help out raising awareness about Origin, you can click that button and vote for us! Of course this isn't necessary, only a small favor to Origin should you choose to do it.
The Cave Report
It all starts here
Vicktor the jaguar accidentally engages Czernobog the boar in a battle, marking a pivotal moment in history when the Children of Rot come together to defend their kin from a common enemy. The Rots set out with pitchforks and torches after finding Bog beaten and bloody, prepared to crucify Vicktor for his actions.
You're Gonna Break
But that's not the end of Vicktor's suffering - no, fortune seems to have completely missed the jaguar as he stumbles upon Booker and his son, and the two of them act out in defense.
It Is Time
The long awaited Makeon children have finally arrived! Leon and Makyna awaken to the sound of their three chrysali breaking open, revealing the young Cadence, Sonata and Baroque. The Songcat family happily welcomes the three young Gembounds into their family, with Quintus arriving just in time to witness the spectacular event!
Free From The Chaos
Jupiter, the strange archer once thought defeated by Totum, has returned - and it looks like she's on the hunt for Batcat. But what does the archer want with him? Her adventure continues in
The Ache of Death, where she manages to locate Batcat JR. It looks like something fishy's going on...
If something interesting is happening in your thread, send a PM to the Origin Cave account or alert the staff in the cbox. We'd love to cover it in the current or next issue of The Cave Report!
