"Speech" | 'Thoughts' | @Kerberos
Whaaa sorry for long wait x_X
Cure smiled warmly as Kerberos greeted her. She even beamed with pride when he complemented how good she was becoming with her abilities. It was a tidal wave of relief in all honesty. She wanted to became, not just good, but great. She wanted to be something that could both protect and heal others. It had been decided in a more
esoteric way that she would practice her offensive abilities first. She would attempt mastering them, no matter how long it took, and then move on to the more difficult things. Cayenne's words rung in her mind, but she was quick to push them away. She would worry about those later.
"I am holding up. My sister...I think she's finally beginning to get better," Her voice wavered as she spoke of her twin. Guilt was quick to twist at her gut and she had to fight herself to keep her emotions steady.
"Kerb...I.." She began as she studied all three faces of the Cerberus before her. Her hear went out to the creature especially with the way his middle head remained tucked safely beneath another. She had only heard what had went on between him and her father. Had been to scared to go and see the damage that had been done, but now it really didn't matter. Things were starting to get better and Cure wanted to show Kerberos something she should have told him about from the start.
"I want to show you something," She spoke just above a whisper. Unsure of how he would respond to what it was she wanted him to see.
"If you can fit...you should come inside," She smiled to the three headed beast as she rose to her paws and turned to walk back inside the bone fortress was a certain Chrysalis lay quietly tucked away. She padded over to the growing gem and began moving bones and other things she had gathered in an attempt to keep the thing camouflaged from others. Finally, when the entire thing was properly revealed Cure sat back on her haunches and studied the gem with adoration.
"I'm sorry...I didn't tell you sooner, but I didn't know how everyone was going to react...given the reason why I was able to have a piece of Bevy's gem," Cure trailed off in her words for a moment, not wishing to bring up the reason why. She just felt like he had a right to know. After all, it was his life essence that had been breathed into the gem in the first place. He would be the father of whatever it was that would emerge from this Chryaslis when the time came.
