White wondered why, despite always waking up and getting sick of Polaris, she stayed. She wondered why even after thinking to herself that she should leave and hang out somewhere else, she always falls asleep next to the spire anyway.

The hybrid supposed it didn't matter. She stretched her front legs out, and then her back legs - and for good measure, her wings - before she stood up and heaved a yawn. Her sleeping spot next to the spire was getting a little cramped - with White growing up into her full size and the gifts from Caravaggio lying there, too.

She shook herself, a few pearly-white down feathers falling from her chest before she began to wander in circles around the spire to wake herself up, bleary-eyed and dry-mouthed.

Another fine day to be alive! Another good day to explore her birthplace. Yinehi wandered toward the spire, a song of her creation rolling in her mind and humming in her throat. The blue crystals grew in number as she wandered, pausing from time to time to inspect specific clusters that caught her equally-blue eye. They were beautiful and shiny, and she hoped to herself she might find a loose crystal to claim.

A flash of something brighter than the crystals startled her a little, but she didn't make any effort to run. Instead, she hopped onto a tall crystal and stretched herself up, trying to see what was nearby. Not too far away, she spotted a very interesting hybrid who was utterly beautiful in her eyes. She smiled so big her beak gaped a little, then began hopping from perch to perch, humming a little louder and flapping her wings between them.

"Hello, there!" she chimed happily as she approached the feathered canine, stopping a few feet away and holding her wings out to balance herself on the awkwardly shaped perch she was on.

The hybrid was only just beginning to wake up when she heard something fairly unusual. A soft hum that seemingly increased in volume. She stopped walking for a moment, ears pricked and feathers flat until she heard the flapping of wings.

"Mom?" the word barely left White's mouth as she turned, expecting the black crow to be in the place of the vulture. That said, she wasn't quite unhappy to see the stranger. "Oh- s-sorry."

She stepped towards the vulture's perch and sat down. "Hello," she said, feathers fluffing up. "I'm White! What's your name?"

Giga felt a bit guilty; she wasn't who the hybrid thought she was. She bowed her head when White apologized, not lifting it again until she was asked for her name. She smiled pleasantly and tilted her head toward the canine. "I am Gigatsuhali Yinehi, but you can just call me Fairy," she said. Giga tucked her wings to her sides and admired White's own. "You are very pretty, White!"

Another moment was needed to adjust her feet, eyes watching as she found a way to comfortable cling to it with her clawed toes. She looked back up and settled, head perking a little. "This is a really lovely place," she stated, glancing around, then looking back at the acquaintance.

@White

A talon lifted to lightly scratch at White's elbow as she listened, ears flickering briefly. The hybrid's mouth opened to speak before it closed again, a slight red flush appearing under the feathers around her face. "Oh! Th-thank you! You're very pretty too, Fairy."

She shook her head, looking up at the spire. "There's lots of other places, though," she said. "I haven't really been outside of here."

Glancing back at Giga, the hybrid tilted her head. "I was born here. Were you?" she asked as she lifted a front paw, patting away at the blush around her face.

Giga smiled, eyes glinting as she was complimented in return. Her feathers on her chest and neck fluffed happily, then flattened again. She looked around as she listened to White, nodding a little at the comment about other places. Eyes returned to the white beauty before her. "I was born here in Polaris, near the river, I think."

She pondered something for a moment, scratched her head, then pondered a little more. "Why have you not ventured? Do you want company?" she tipped her head again.
