A wave of relief welled up from within her and slowly overtook the lingering terror. Still, fear still clung at the back of her throat with the faint acrid taste of smoke. Magic. Her eyes narrowed at him, but she couldn't bring herself to ask anything more about it. Instead, she wondered vaguely if there were other magics that were similarly destructive. His innocent question finally erased the final clinging bits of fear. Boar tossed her head proudly. "Well," she hummed. "I know lotsa things. Like..." Well she did know things, didn't she? For one panicked moment she mentally groped for something, anything that could be passed off as knowledge. Then that smug look settled on her face again. "Like I know car-nee-vores'r bad an' er-bee-vores are good. An' if you see a car-nee-vore you should beat 'em up." She eyed the ferns momentarily, but for the moment wasn't tempted enough to partake.

Atsila listened to her out-pour of knowledge, appear very intent on what she had to say. His ears gave the occasional flap, his chewing slowed as he lost focus on what was in his mouth. With a big gulp at her "beat 'em up" statement, he shifted his weight a little and became a bit worried. "Well..." he began timidly. "Wh...what's a car-nee-vore? And a 'er-bee-vore?"
