Tuck looked this scaly Gembound up and down, his fear for her quickly dissipating. “Hey, did you let someone push you around?” he asked. “No, no, no. Look at me. I’m tiny, but I can kick ass!” (Tuck had no real qualms about minor cursing in front of young ones. He wasn’t sure where he’d learned these words, but he loved saying them, as it made him feel more powerful). “You gotta stand up for yourself! I have to use Magic to do that ‘cos I’m so small that most others could probably flick me to death, but you’re bigger. You could fight without Magic if you wanted. You just gotta be brave!”

Tuck wasn’t sure where this motivational speech was coming from, but he liked that he was trying to help someone else. This was a thing he never would have done even a cycle before, but his wanting to be a healer was taking over his old personality and making him a bit kinder. And he really enjoyed that.

Nkosana tilted his head at the crocodile. "Why would I want to end your existence? I'd never want to do that!" He then gave a small smile. "Hey, it's ok! We all make mistakes. Everyone deserves another chance. Everyone, including you." He then glanced over at Tuck. "Yeah, stick up for yourself! Don't let someone just push you around. Hold your ground against 'em!" His smile broadened, this time showing teeth.

He wanted to make her feel better. She was clearly down, and he wanted to fix that. He'd do whatever it would take. Seeing others disappointed-even though he had only seen one-made him feel sad. He wanted other to be happy! He wasn't entirely sure how to go about doing it, however.

The combined words of Tuck and Nkosana didn’t seem to have any effect on the little reptile, and eventually, Tuck grew bored of sitting there and waiting for a response. With a bit of a huff of annoyance, he glanced around at the two of them and made some kind of lame excuse for leaving. “Hey, uh… I got stuff to do so… I’ll just be going now.” With another awkward glance around, he shuffle-hopped away, hoping neither of them would follow him because then it would be really awkward…
