He moved at a fairly casual pace, which he thought would have been slow enough for the wolf pup, but on pausing and looking back he realized that the child was struggling with his paw. Bartos knitted his brows, examining his wound. It was strange, as it didn't look like he had sustained a wound, but perhaps it had happened a while ago. After he emerged? How long ago had the pup emerged anyways? It must have been just recently given that he didn't know anything about the cave, or even his own name. Bartos flicked his tail and continued on, only twisting an ear when the child asked about Polaris. "It shouldn't be too far." Was all he said, briskly and detached, though deep in his heart he felt some sympathy for the boy. Bartos knew what it was like to walk on a broken leg. He'd get no where coddling the child though, and found it hard to even try and think of a way to comfort him.
@Astaroth (do we wanna make a new thread in Polaris?)
