So many hours earlier yet another chrysalis had opened up, reveling something warm and bouncy; ready to take on this world. The gem that cradled the new soul was a pretty orange, Spessartite Garnet, shimmering in the now lighted cave system. Unlike many here, this young female was born into light and not darkness. So, maybe this is why she was already full of optimism? Probably only weighing in at about 8lbs, not even a foot tall at her shoulder, this bright pup was on the move to explore and understand this beautiful place she had awoken up to find. Her tail was in a tight curl, held high with a sparkling stone was emended at the base of her tail where her spine ended on her rear. It matched the gem that she came from somewhere deeper in this tunnel. "So pretty . . ." Eyes glued to the string of glowing lights that hung on the rocky walls on this place. Tail began to wag from side to side, reveling the gem begin to glow. This was all such a beautiful sight to behold. When she slept, she had no idea she would one day wake to a place like this one. (edit after roll) The more she explored, the more joy grew inside. ". . . and so shiny!" Clumsily puppy feet moved her down the row of lights, the gem at the base of her tail began to glow brightly now. And not just that, but she did as well. Such a radiant light came from the young soul. It was such a bright light, it could probably be seen out of this tunnel and to the opens to other rooms that were connected. Tho, it never dawned on the shiba to worry about others or that there could be others. Majesty, too, was exploring today. He wanted to make sure he explored every inch of the big rooms and the tunnels that connected them. He walked slowly, as was normal for him. He didn’t often feel the need to rush, but when he did, he ran like he had wings, and only did so when he was overjoyed about something. Today he was happy, of course, but not so elated as to run. How could one get a clear idea of anything when one was running? Wasn’t it best to slow down and take everything in and enjoy things? He thought so.

Up ahead came the brightest light Majesty had ever seen! He did not yet know how to access his Magic, but somehow he knew that it was Magic causing the glow. Still, even in his excitement, he went towards the glow slowly, a bit on the cautious side. His run-in with Zorrak had taught him that not every encounter with another Gembound was guaranteed to be a good encounter. This knowledge put a bit of a damper on his naïve and optimistic view of the world, but he tried to ignore that. Surely not everyone was so… so rude!

Sure enough, his hunch was proven correct. Up ahead, he saw the glow of a young Gembound who was much smaller than him. Her body was glowing like a faint yellow star, and he thought she looked beautiful… He felt something bubble up inside of him – his body wanted to do… something, though he didn’t know what. He waited and waited, but nothing ever happened, and eventually, the wanting went away. With a sigh of disappointment, and a confused scrunch of his eyebrows, he decided to let his presence be known to the Almost-Wolf. He let out a soft bark, not wanting to frighten her, and stepped just a little bit closer.

The sweet soul was truly captivated by the beauty of the flickering lights, like little flames traped inside of those glass orbs. Unaware of her glowing for the longest time since she wasn't paying much attention to herself. Prancing down the tunnel, she began to count the lights on the string out loud, finding the numbers came to easily to her. How strange, but it didn't bother her since she saw nothing odd at all. "four . . . five . . . six . . ." Then a sound came from behind her, a bark? Pausing, she flipped her head over her shoulder to glace at the figure at the other end of the tunnel. Jaw dropped open right there. It dawned on her that she was alone a moment ago, but now she wasn't. ". . . HELLO!" Her feet were on springs as she darted over to the other, stopping before she ran into them and glued her rump to the ground. Still glowing, maybe even brighter from this new joy. Who were they? When did they get here? So many questions, not even sure what to say yet for sure. Her ears were perked high, a smile smack right onto her face as she looked this new face over. Well, they seemed darkner in color then her . . which became the moment she noticed her coat was glowing. Wow, when did that happen? Looking back, at them . . no, Him. They seemed like a him, she nodded to this. Farrah was about to tell them hello again, but her gaze quickly dropped down at the stone on his chest. "Wow . . . that is so pretty!" She was captivated by the chunk of amber, "Can I look?" Wiggling in place, hoping he would say yes. ----- "Speechy speechy speech." ooc: c:

Dear Lord, what was this strange fluttery feeling in his stomach? Why was he suddenly so nervous? Why did he do a double-take the second this girl flipped her head over her shoulder to look at him. Why he did want to run away – but not run away – when she started running toward him? Why did his tongue feel like sandpaper in his mouth? He watched with bated breath as she skidded to a halt before him, wriggling with what could only be taken as joy. And it was contagious. Even though, at the same time, he wanted to turn tail and flee. What was going on with his emotions all of a sudden?!

”HELLO!” she said, eyes shining brightly. He tried to say something – anything – back, but it felt like his tongue was glued to the roof of his mouth. So he opted to say nothing at all, instead focusing on plastering on a smile and wagging his tail to show that he was friendly. She was really pretty… He shook himself. What was he even thinking? He didn’t even know this girl! He needed to get his head out of the clouds! Finally, he unglued his mouth and said, “H-h-hello!” Well, it was a start.

He could already feel his confidence returning and by the time she had moved on to ask him if she could see his Amber Stone, his wits had come back to him. He sat down so that the stone was more easily seen and said, “Yes, you can. Is it really pretty? I guess I never thought about it…” As an afterthought, he added, “Where’s your Stone? Do you have one too?”

The moment he said she could, sitting down to show the gem off better; a sqwee escaped her muzzle. Scooting clover, tail wagged like a wild thing behind her admiring the sparkling highlights of the amber. Very pretty indeed, she wasn't to sure if her gem was as stunning since she couldn't get a great look at it from the place it was on her spine. “Where’s your Stone? Do you have one too?” As he asked, her nose softly touched the gem, giggling about how it shimmered in the light of the bulbs that were strung up around the tunnel. By this time, the radiant glow that came from her began to fade ever so lightly, would probably be gone in a few minutes. Did she have one, well yes indeed! "Yeah, do you want to see mine!" Twisting around, at first her fluffy butt might have been in his face but soon it was glued to the floor and her tailed moved to the side. "I'm not sure how pretty it is, but I know it sparkles." The gem grew from where her spine and tail met, right at the base of her tail. It was a warm orange, tickled with darker shades. The gem seemed lumpy, but it was just a cluster clumped together to form a larger gem. Looking back over her shoulder, she smiled to the male sweetly then was curious as to how to address him. Mouth parted before it closed again. Hmm, but what did she call herself? Oh dear, why she never thought of what she was to call herself since she never thought she would need to. "Well . . . do you have a name? I'm not sure I do, but I hope to think of one." Taking a sharp breath in, then nodded. "But when I do have one, I'll be sure to tell you!." He seemed nice, finding his stuttering words rather cute. She was sure he had a lovely name, after all, he was rather stunning himself. As the questions he asked escaped his lips, Majesty’s breath caught in his throat as the pretty girl leaned forward and touched her nose to the Stone in his chest. His heart rammed so hard that he was sure she would be able to feel it through his Gem, but she didn’t make any mention of it. Of course she wouldn’t be able to feel it! He was being silly! What was wrong with him? He laughed a bit nervously as he witnessed her Glow start to dissipate. How sad… She was so pretty when she was Glowing like that. Of course! She was pretty, anyways!

Suddenly she was talking and he was listening with rapt attention, as any smitten knight would do for a beautiful lady. He may have been young but damn it if he didn’t already have a knightly view of himself – perfect for someone who figured he would one day be a King. That little bit of vanity shown through in the most obvious of times, did it not? He was sort of smiling and feeling alright again when she decided to turn around and – and – shove her butt in his face?? What the heck? But before he could even begin to comprehend this, her back-end was gone and she was sitting down with her back to him, trying to show him her gem.

Oh, of course! Her gem! Right! There was nothing weird going on here! Of course, they were both still so young. Majesty didn’t even have an understanding of sexual things yet. Still, that split-second glance of her behind had both grossed him out and sent his mind reeling. Girls were weird, he decided. Really, really weird. Still… he liked this one. And her gem! Her gem was pretty just like she was! It was a shame she didn’t have a name, though he was happy that she said she’d tell him if she ever found one.

In the end, they both seemed to be sitting there staring at each other, she looking over her shoulder and he catching her pretty brown eye. It was rather… awkward… Good! But awkward… So much so that he completely forgot to tell her his name. Oh dear.

The little shiba was waiting for him to reply, but alas he was silent. How odd. She was rather antsy now, twisting back around to face him better. "Do you not have a name ether?" Maybe she would need to think of something to call him them . . . so she can call after him in case he was far off. Ears twitched a bit as she moved to walk around him, noting a large rock growing out of the wall of the tunnel. Without a moment to think of the possible consequences, she skipped over to jump up on top of the stone. With a skip, hop and a leap; she seemed to almost float up and land on top of the stone. That was easy for sure! Paws tapped on the rock, turning around to face the wolf. What should she call him? Looking the male up and down, eyes slowed at the amber in his chest. Words swirled in her mind, trying to pick out one just for him. Oh, there were so many but she wasn't even aware of the meaning of some of them. "Hmmm, can I call you . . . Charming?" It sounded like the right word, little did she know anything about prince or knight charming; but who knew about those things in this world they were in. Curled tail wagged softly, smiling over to him. Farrah could feel the glow go away now, leaning her coat at it's natural color. Yet, a tired feeling washed over her. Odd, almost like she was drained. Tail dropped down as she slide gracefully from the rock to have all four paws down on the floor at a time. ----- "Speechy speechy speech." ooc: words

Majesty seemed to be slowly getting back to his usual self. He wanted to hide his head for forgetting to tell the girl his name, but he could feel some of the embarrassment slipping from him. As he moved his body to watch her walk around him, he felt his body start wanting to do something again, but he still wasn’t sure what. It was driving him crazy! What was this weird tingly feeling all over his body? He would chalk it up to nerves, but it didn’t feel like a nervous feeling. It felt like… ugh, he didn’t even know.

He grinned sheepishly when he realized he had never given her a name, shaking off the tingly feeling that was subsiding now. “Ah, sorry. You can call me whatever you want! But my actual name is Majesty.” She hopped gracefully onto a rock, and he couldn’t help but give a genuine smile. She seemed so easy-going. He decided he’d have to learn that from her. How was he ever going to be a leader if he got so nervous so easily? He forced his body to relax, and watched the Glow slowly drain from hers. It was sort of sad to see the pretty golden color leave, but he thought she was pretty, anyways.

“Hmm, can I call you… Charming?” she asked, smiling at him.

He sort of laughed, though not at her. “Sure, if you want. I don’t really mind. And what should I call you? Pretty?” He felt mortified as he said it, but at this point it didn’t really matter. They seemed to have some sort of banter going on, and he found he rather liked it. He’d keep it going as long as he could, so long as she didn’t mind…

At the mention of his name, she took it into thought. Something about it called about power and someone to look up to, respectable. It seemed like a better name then Charming, but after a pause in thought she felt Charming would be a nice thing to call him. The young female walked back over to the wolf, tail curled loosely over her back; only slightly covering the gem cluster that held her life force. “Sure, if you want. I don’t really mind. And what should I call you? Pretty?” At the mention of a name to call her, ears went forward to listen better. "I really like that name!" Did he think she was pretty? Head titled slightly, warm gaze locked onto his face. Nodding, "You can call me that, if you like." And she would like it for sure. He did seem so nice, and for being the first to meet here, it made her happy indeed. It gave hope that others would be just as interesting. Oh how she smiled, wanting to lean in closer to him. Not understanding why, but before she could get closer something had caught her eye. What was that over there on the floor? Hmmm. Farrah stood up to investigate, seeing that it was one of those glowing bulbs that were hanging up along the wall. But this one wasn't glowing, or even hanging up with the others. Did it fall? "How sad . . ." Bending down, touching her nose to the glass, wishing it would live again. Tho, even with all her wishing nothing happened. The cluster of garnet at the base of her tail flickered but that was it. Maybe it just was time for the bulb to sleep? Gently she scooted it to the side, out of the way of foot steps, to be sure it would not be step up. "Charming . . . can I ask you something?" Her voice was softer now, sadness crept in, but the female did her best to let it pass on. Turnign back again, a smile had returned to her. This girl bounced back fast. "Can we explore together?" Majesty, at some point, had stopped paying much attention to Pretty’s words. He still watched her, and smiled at her, but in his head, he was running a dialogue. ’She would make a good member for my pack… I should ask her about maybe joining it. Or should I? What if she says no? What if she thinks it’s a stupid idea? Then I’ll look like an idiot! What if she hates me for it? What if I never get any members?’ At this point, he was panicking a little, as he turned to watch her progress when she went over to the bulb on the floor.

’She would never want to join my group! Ha! How stupid could I be! She probably doesn’t even like me! She’s probably just being nice! Maybe I should just go now… Yeah, I should go, before this gets awkward. I don’t think she wants me around. She’s not even paying any attention to me anymore!’ Still, he didn’t really want to leave. In his heart of hearts, he knew he was just nervous, and that none of the things he was telling himself were really true. But the mind could play tricks on a Gembound quite easily…

“Charming… can I ask you something?”

He swallowed nervously when she looked up at him again. “Y-yes?”

”Can we explore together?”

He couldn’t help but allow a smile to break through his nervousness. Maybe she did like him after all. Maybe he’d ask her, but not now. Now they had exploring to do. But soon. He’d ask her soon. When he had more courage. For now, he said, “Sure! Where do you wanna go?” He didn’t really mind where they went, so long as they fun. Yeah. Fun was the key. Then when they had become true friends, he’d ask her to join his pack.
