Such innocence and wonder, it was hard not to like children. Or at least, this Youngblood. He was quite the character. He asked me if he could have one, and I grimaced disappointingly.
"I dont have that type of magic, Kyorai. But, I can tell you the spell, and we can pick out a rock for you, and we can find a gem that will enchant it for you. Then, you will have your own light."
It was quite the offer, and I even surprised myself with it. I had to blink a few times to fully register what I had just promised the boy. But, a trip didn't sound so bad.


Kyorai went on to say his magic, named 'animal', wasn't as exciting as my own. I gave a chirpy chortle, shaking my head with the notion.
"they are different, sure. But one is not above the other. You can do things I cant, and that my boy is special."
Clover's teachings did not go to waste, it would seem. But the next turn of events caused my gentle smile to turn down, folding into a taut frown. Avoiding something? Too many things. I had to turn away, looking harshly to the right as I closed my eyes. I didn't realize how hard it hurt, but remembering was just too much. I gave a soft shake of the head before looking back to Kyorai.
"Some things are better left unsaid."
My voice, although firm, was not harsh. Azure lenses fell upon his shadowed countenance once again, awaiting his response.

wake up from your reverie a light year from reality Ears flattened when he saw the expression company put on when it came down to answering his question. Though eyes did brighten up when hearing about going on a search to retrieve his own little light. Tail could not help but wag uncontrollably, pleased that there would be a chance it having his own enchanted stone. "Ooh! We can do that, yes! Have an adventure!" he exclaimed, giving their stone another bop while staring at it with deep admiration. There was no clear reason as to why his need for one increased, but self would not forget small objective he has now put forth—knowing it would give mind something else to do. Head shook with a slight huff coming from him. The pup never understood why he downed his own magic when comparing it to others. Perhaps that was normal, especially upon one in which had so much to improve on. Thoughts pushed self-lying issue away and directed attention back onto feathered company. Gaze shifted in wondering what could be done, seeing that Ambrus appeared to be bothered by the question. Taking two leaves near him, the pup decided to put it onto the bird's head and their glowing stone just to lighten up the situation. He then sat back down with a tiny smile, finding their temporary wear amusing. "I see," he simply said, humming a melody to follow along with it. "Kyo Speaks"
