Equinox found it hard to balance with the little creature in her paw, so instead the great dragon lowered her head so that if they wanted, they would be able to climb from her paw onto the top of her slimy head. Using her immense wings to move on all fours and having such flexible bones presented the dragon with some unique difficulty, one of which was her inability to support on just three limbs.

"We're going to Eridanussssss. Sssssomeone livessss there. He can do anything." Equinox forced back the nerves that swelled in her chest. She hadn't seen Tukluk since before she'd... almost burned down Eridanus. Tukluk was so small, what if... something had happened? It would be all her fault. Her skin once more began to ripple, but she tried to force it down, knowing that the chick would be in for a bumpy ride if she didn't calm her nerves.

Her wings flapped hopelessly, trying to at least gain some extra height as she attempted to scale the being's head, her good leg sinking into the goop on the side. Instead of gaining height and getting onto its head, she instead managed to sink her leg even deeper into the goop, causing her to hang uselessly from the side. She chirped in alarm, not wanting to fall again like last time.

She decided to get a good look at the creature from her upside-down view, examining its dark goop as much as possible. It appeared to have four limbs, two of which had flat balloon sheets extending to the body- her mind identified those as 'wings', although she didn't know where the word came from.

The being had only opened its mouth when she was nearby, revealing a little red gem inside- although, this time, her mind didn't identify what exactly the gem was. She'd have to learn its name herself, but she was okay with that.

Then she realized that she, in fact, needed to get out of the goop she was currently hanging from. She felt herself slowly sliding downwards out of the goop, but the rate of descent was too slow- and she didn't want to fall again. Falling was bad, as she was shown from the cliffs.

She repeated what she had attempted to do before- swinging upwards and grabbing on, struggling free of the slime and attempting to crawl upwards onto the top of the creature's head.

This time, it worked. After an uncertain period where she felt like she would fall again- causing a wave of panic to shoot through her body- she got a grip on both the situation and the head, pulling herself upwards and having a much better view of everything around.

Then she realized something else about her situation- she was hungry. It gnawed on her, adding another layer of difficulty to her capricious situation. Laying down on the goop- which still felt like a really cold blanket, but she refused to let the temperature get to her- she asked her friend a question.

"Will help have food?"

Equinox waited with her head to her paw until she was definitive that the little creature had climbed and was fully atop her head. Her paw slowly lowered to the ground whilst her head rose up to its full height, towering above the ground where the tiny bird had been sat moments ago. Equinox let out a rumble in response to her question, but was unable to answer.

After thinking it through, Nox decided it would be best to find food herself. She didn't know how quickly she'd be able to find Eridanus. She was sure that this place wasn't Eridanus and didn't know the way from here... She just knew that when she came upon the scents of flora and distant charring, then that was her destination.

"....What do you want? For food?" Equinox asked softly, beginning to move forward, her paws squelching in her own goop as her paws met the ground.

Fluid dripped to the ground beneath her belly as she left behind the newly-formed pool where she'd been standing. The sounds of moisture dripping could be heard echoing into the darkness.

notes: Sorry about the slow replies! It's been a rough week >.<

Solani looked down at the creature's head she was currently perched on, thinking. What did she eat? She looked around the room, trying to make out something that looked edible. Unfortunately for her, she couldn't see much past the creature's outline.

"Umm.." she said, hearing her voice reflect back at her. Her mind called it an 'echo'. She looked around again, like an amnesiac getting used to their surroundings again.

"I.. don't know." she said, shifting uncomfortably. "All this is so new to me and I just came out of a chrysalis and-"

She cut herself off, trying not to ramble, instead looking over her leg again.
