Xeo was feeling an array of emotions. She really didn't know what to think or do. But the longer she remained confused, the more frustrated she was becoming. She was trying really hard to keep herself calm, for Vivirra seemed kind and she didn't want to hurt the first gembound she had met. But oh, the aggression was so overwhelming.

Snapping back into reality, the pup shook her head and relaxed her tail so it was no longer tucked between her hind legs. She twitched her ears and let out a gentle sigh at herself. She had to keep her anger under control. "Yes, I can see heartbeats if I focus really hard. That's how I knew you were coming before I could smell or hear you." Xeo paused for a second, giving the gembound enough time to process her words before continuing on. "It must be my magic. I never thought of it like that." She tilted her head but soon straightened it out when the creature seemed to be panicking.

"The stone?" she questioned. "Shouldn't your gem be attached to you?" Xeo was confused, but she went with it. "Nevertheless, I'll help you find it." The pup took a step forwards, and without prior knowledge, landed her paw right in the middle of a puddle. "I didn't realize it was wet in here," she whispered to herself.
