It has been a hard few turns. Yet, Cascade Hold is now well established. We are flourishing, as if we gave ourselves any other option.
We were finally able to give Cascade Weyr a suitable tithe last autumn, yet we need everyone's cooperation to continue growing. This is a call to all holders, to all Crafters. There is a place for you here. Homes, land, new opportunities.
Skilled or unskilled, there is a place here for you. Make your way to the large Seaholds, and you will find your guide. The Hold prospers, the Weyr prospers, the people prosper.
In the Spring of our Fourth Turn, I declare the start of an annual Gather to celebrate the first planting of the Turn. You are hereby invited to join us. Celebrate our success with us and perhaps next turn your efforts will be part of the celebration.

We are an AU Pern. No F'lar or Lessa, and thus no 'Long Interval.' Yet, the Ninth and Tenth Passes gave Pern Dustfalls, rather than Threadfall. With nothing to stop outward expansion, we are a Pern at war with itself. Mutant whers and flits are common enough to be variably accepted across much of Pern, but never before has Pern dealt with mutant dragons.

Wherlets to Adopt
Friendly people
Detailed and constantly developing world
Lots of Firelizards
Dragon Hatching currently ongoing, first generation mutations, with adoptable hatchlings.
