Alexi shivered. This tunnel made her feel just plain wrong. It was cold but warm. Wet, and yet she needed something to quench her thirst. The air was heavy and made her pace slow, even though she needed to escape. The entire thing felt like one big trap, and the wolf hated it. After her encounter with Tuck, she had hidden from other Gembounds. She wasn't ready to take on this world she found herself in. Alexi just couldn't do it.

Instead, she decided to wait awhile to go out and meet the world. And now, it had been a while. Leaving Polaris, the wolf hoped to meet someone kind. Someone like Tuck. In all honesty, she wanted to see Tuck again to apologize. She was being overly dramatic before.

Sighing, Alexi continued onward. Soon, she had made it to the end of the tunnel and was by the entrance to the next room. Small drops of water dripped from the top of the entrance, and a spray of mist constantly shot through the large gaping hole. Alexi laid her hears back and moved away from the entrance, but not going too far. She wanted to leave Polaris and wasn't sure if there was another way out.

Pacing back and forth, Alexi contemplated how to get into that room without getting too wet. She could rush through the entrance and hope for the best, or she could try to find something to cover up with. Actually, she couldn't do the second one. There was nothing in this darn tunnel to cover up with. Maybe Lexi could wait for someone to come help her through.

Whining, Alexi continued her pacing, trying to think of a way through.
