despite the title species has nothing to do with my plotting interests
haruo is here hes 2 cycles old and he barely knows any english. hes very friendly though, he loves to sing, and has a warm heart. he’s very playful and curious, although he is wary of canine-like characters.
i’d love if he could make some friends who he could talk to more and learn some good vocab, otherwise he’ll probably have the english speaking level of a second year high schooler in a foreign language class by the time he’s an adult. he knows enough to express common and general ideas now, but i’d really like to write out the origins of where he learns particular vocab instead of assuming he just overheard everything slowly and in passing.
i guess crushes are also fun but if that were the case i’d like them to just be friends for a while and have the development written out; i don’t want haruo to have a single friend that develops into a lover at 4 cycles. if he has a crush i want him to have friends to vent about it to! i’m indifferent if it lasts through adulthood, but one day when he’s older and done more i’ll be more interested in him having a sort of bambi “oh... Girls exist huh... and they’re pretty...” moment lol, except probably with all genders and lack thereof. but not today, i’m more interested in developing his childhood.
encounters with mean characters are also fine. although i’m not specifically requesting them, i like to play my characters with whatever encounters seem probable and realistic. thus if your meaner characters would seek out an interaction with this random, bouncy deer fawn who doesn’t seem to talk much (and when he does, it’s choppy and seems to be a struggle to put together) then all power to them, i’m down to thread them. haruo is most likely to run at the first sign of danger though—if anyone more vulnerable isn’t around that he feels like he has to protect (poorly, he’s a fawn) of course. he’s a bit of a bumbling hero type so far.
