Petals had wandered away from Eridanus now that he had his satchel full of flowers and seeds and found himself in a cave filled with color. And other gembounds. He liked it immediately, and figured this was the best place to start making flower crowns for others. Surely someone would see his flower crown and wonder where he got it. To which he would then say he made it himself, and would then offer to make one for the other gembound! It was a perfect plan. He just had to wait for someone to come up to him.

The grass in Polaris tasted good.

It was lush and wet, pleasantly so. So she grazed, keeping her ears out for anything.

When she heard movement, she looked up. There was a gray... thing, sitting off to the side, with flowers on his head.

"Hello," she called softly, approaching the lemur. "Those flowers are beautiful, my friend."

Thankfully, the lemur didn't have to wait too long. Soon enough, a large creature approached and commented on his flowers. Petals grinned. "Thanks! I grew them myself and then put them into this crown. Do you want one? I'm sure I can make one for you!" He looked at the other from head to toe - er, antlers to hoof. Specifically her antlers.

It would be hard making a flower crown that would fit, but he was determined to make one for her! He wanted to make a flower crown for everyone!

Artume tilted her head, looking down at the lemur. She offered him a polite smile, inclining her head. "You did very well. I would really appreciate that - I have never seen anything like it before."

Carefully, she knelt down, wanting to watch as he made them. She only had hooves, so she was incapable of anything like this. But it would be fascinating to watch. As she did so, her magic reacted to the magic in the air, and flowers bloomed from the ground, growing from one side of the cave to the other.

Petals' grin grew wider. He could finally make a flower crown for someone! He quickly looked through the flowers he had in his satchel. Would it be enough? He was just starting to worry and getting some seeds out when flowers suddenly bloomed around them, growing from one side of the cave to the other.

"Whoa! That's so many flowers!" His eyes were wide in wonder. "I could use these...Wasn't sure I'd have enough flowers that would fit!" He gathered some and included them with his own. He then got ready to make it.

It took a while, and it was becoming rather frustrating. The stems just didn't want to weave together right, and the crown was too small! There was no way it would fit. The normally cheerful lemur was becoming annoyed. Still, he was determined! Maybe he'd just try again in a little while. "I'm sorry, it's not wanting to work. But I can still make you a flower crown! Maybe I need more flowers...?" his voiced trailed off for a moment before returning his attention back to Artume. "Either way, I'll still make you a flower crown!"

Artume took a deep breath, enjoying the smell of all the flowers that were blooming. It was truly beautiful, all these flowers growing in the cave. A mix-match of different colors and perfumes, new life growing before her eyes.

This was how she viewed the cave. Full of hope, and potential, if only there was one there to coax it out. "I can grow more for you, if you'd like. You can always take their seeds."

She observed as the lemur attempted to build the crown, resting her head on the ground as she observed. Her antlers were still growing, and she had yet to grow used to their weight. Eventually, she hoped, she would grow strong enough that they didn't make her neck ache.

It took a while, but finally a flower crown was created. It didn't match the lemur's didn't come close, and the lemur seemed rather disappointed. "I think it's beautiful," she reassured him, leaning forward to look the crown over. "Where did you learn to make these?" Beneath her, more flowers bloomed, although not nearly as many as before.
