As the fight came to an end, Blackberry stood from where she had been moments before. She narrowed her eyes and nodded towards Hellberry, extremely pleased by what she had seen. "That was excellent, Hellberry. Of course, many enemies will not go easy on you, as Jayberry most likely did. We will train you to fight and to enjoy the fight. To enjoy the blood of your enemies." Without warning her face went dark and stern and her eyes flashed with the threat of anger. "But you must treat your family with respect. While we fight and murder and bathe in blood, we still love each other. You are not to disrespect your siblings unless they have disrespected you. You are not to attack your siblings unless they have committed a crime against the family. We do not enjoy the blood of our family, only the blood of our enemies. Do I make myself clear?"

She didn't mean to be scary or mean, she simply had to make Hellberry understand. Many of them, like Jayberry, seemed to understand this from the get-go. Some of them understood as they went along. But this was something that Hellberry would have to learn now.
