Cecei’s flew quickly after seeing Max was following. She looked around for potential shelter spots, somewhere safe and hidden like Ocelot had asked for. She searched around until she saw a hidden cave. Slow she flew inside.. or tried to. Turns out it was some sort of shadow being cast making the wall look like a cave. She shook her head, that was painful. Slowly she flew up again. She would have to keep looking.

Ocelot slowly retracted his claws once he was Sure Rast would be safe. He watched Cecei and Max leave to find them some shelter and so he relaxed himself. He pressed his head against Rast’s soft chest fur, closing his eyes gently as he thought about that feeling for a moment.

”How are you feeling Rast?”

Slowly he looked up to her. He wanted to make sure she was ok, he had to make sure she was safe. He needed to make sure that she wouldn’t get hurt again.

Max beamed as the fluffy cat said that they could be friends, bouncing excitedly, "Boy oh boy we are friends now! I love having friends friends are the best! I have a friend already his name is Humphrey and I love him and you will love him and he will love you I think he is fluffy like you and white like you too!" and then his tail wagged even faster, and he woofed, "Yes I would love that! I could visit you and play with you and bring you fun tings I could find you would like!"

He spun to chase after the bird, only to slam fast first until a tree. The dog staggered back a few steps,shaking his head, before growling at the tree and biting it, saying around his mouthful of tree-flesh "That was mean!"

Stepping back, he turned his butt to the tree and kicked some dirt at it, before trotting after Cecei, head high and tail pluming behind him.

His eyes caught on a whole in the rock, and he shoved his head under it. The rock was in the middle of a clearing, about as big as he was, and the hole was big enough for his head. He shoved his head into the hole, propping the rock up, and calling to Cecei as his tail wagged, "FOUND IT!"

and then he saw a beetle, and yelped, "BUUUUUG!" and lunged for the beetle, sending the rock flying as he began to chase the bug.
