Amazon wondered about the places he suggested to her. He knew so much, he had been all over and it made her a little jealous to know that someone could simply walk and go to a new place without a care in the world, without worrying about if it was worth it in the time they had. It wasn't the first time she had felt so envious of someone, but it was so much more prominent now.

But she wasn't going to let that get in the way. She swallowed her jealousy and tried to pick a place to go. "I've been to Polaris, that's where I hatched, but I haven't ever been beyond that. The Spire was definitely a sight...is there anything else in the caves so wondrous?"

A phoenix in Pisces definitely sounded interesting, even if she didn't know what a phoenix was. He eyes misted as she tried to imagine the falls. She'd heard about the falls, massive torrents of water falling from the ceiling. "I have never seen a waterfall before...and I've never seen a phoenix either."

The stag glanced back over his own body, and then slowly moved forward, lowering himself to lay down just by Amazon's side.

"You should be able to climb the armor easily enough, but I can help you if needs be. There is no reason to wait; we can go directly to Pisces now, if you wish it. And afterward, if you are not too tired, perhaps to see the Kings. They spoke of places beyond these caves, and showed a magic like I have never seen."

Why wait, though? Why not show her myself? It was a beautiful scene, after all; there was no reason to put it off. Perhaps she might never see the king.

A moment of focus, though, brought nothing with it, and Pride settled his mind with a faint stirring of disappointment.

When Pride lowered himself so she could climb on, she didn't hesitate. She scuttled forward and began to climb as best she could up the rigged gemstone armor. Her claws scraped against the diamond surface and she struggled to get onto his back. When she was almost at the top, she began to feel extremely weak and dizzy from the exertion and found that her nose was bleeding again. But a few more pushes and she made it onto Pride's back, her breath labored and heaving and blood streaming from her little nose. "S-sorry, I got blood on your armor. You can wash it off can't you?"

After a moment of rest, she flopped herself further until she was in a nice divet in his armor that she settled in comfortably. She pressed a claw against her nose to stop the flow of blood, intending on washing herself off when they stopped for water.

He held quite still, one ear swivelling to track Amazon's progress at his side. He turned his head slightly to watch her, and once she was settled in, he carefully pushed himself up.

She was worried about blood. At her size, it couldn't be more than the faintest trickle, and his heart fell a little at her worry. She was dying, and apologizing for a mere bloodstain..?

"It is nothing--inconsequential. I'm sure it will wash off, and it does not matter if it doesn't. It's battle armor. It is meant to be bloodied," he added, with good-natured humor. "You are helping me to look more intimidating."

The white stag turned, picking his way carefully down the steps of the Throne. As he made his way toward Pisces, he began to try and gather his magicka again. This time, it not only didn't come, it instead burst in an explosion of showering sparks through his mind. It wasn't visible to Amazon, so his sudden stop and gasp of pain was seemingly without reason, but he quickly explained.

"...Backfiring magic,"
he croaked, with a grimace, before pushing himself onward.

Now he had lights bursting behind his eyes, and excruciating pain lurching through his head. Not the best way to start an important journey, but... he'd meant well, at least.

Quietly he paced onward, from Orion toward the tunnel to Pisces, trying his best now just to remain upright.

The energy it took to climb onto Pride's armor had completely worn out Amazon. Her head was spinning and the nosebleed wasn't stopping. She was feeling really sick right now but she at least got herself to hold in any vomit. She'd gotten quite good at that.

At Pride's little joke she smiled weakly. "I'm glad I'm helping..." she croaked. She didn't really have the strength to say anything else so her entire body just went limp. She stared ahead and didn't seem to notice Pride's lurching stop. Everything was spinning and hazy.

A few moments later, her eyes went dark and she passed from consciousness.
