When the baby crow picked the magic rock up in her mouth, Dragon was filled with triumph.
Yes! We'll go back to Cetus! Aquarian will get ALL of this! Yes!
He then eyed her. It was kind of a long walk, and he knew it'd been irritating enough with
his short legs but hers were even shorter! He sidled over, eyeing her sidelong.
"Climb on, if you like," he said, crouching low. The crow stared at him and clambered on, then sat there with the glowing rock in her mouth. He turned, carefully nosing the cape until it was in a bundle tight enough not to unravel and drag, then lifted it delicately in his jaws and began the long walk home.
They'd have to pass through the tunnel of ice, and that was terrible, and he hated how it felt on his feet and his belly and tail, but then he'd be home! And he could add all (both) these wonderful shinies to his pile! ...Aquarian's pile!
Alligator smile plastered on his face, eyes bright, Dragon waddled quickly off toward the tunnel home.
