This conception was Successful! The litter will emerge May 10th.

Bones will not be able to conceive again until August 10th.

Child Name: ???
Gender: Unknown (up to adopter to decide if it comes to know one)
Species: Hybrid - Bee Hummingbird x African Wild Dog
Element: Fire
Stone: Anandalite (between the shoulderblades)

Appearance: The youth emerging will be tiny: barely thumb-sized and growing to hardly more than a closed fist. Overall it resembles a tiny, fairy-colored Wild Dog with wings, albeit with a feathered tail and narrower face. It will be quite light and swift, with iridescent feathers covering its body in patches reminiscent of its Wild Dog father. Dark borders shade the feathering on the pink patches (which shine red or orange depending on lighting, often all three at once). The rest of the body is a blue-green which can tend toward emerald or violet, again depending on lighting.

The stone is a small, rough but shining Anandalite chunk between the shoulderblades, which can make flight uncomfortable at times, particularly longer journeys. This Gembound will have, like its hummingbird parent, a very high metabolism and voracious appetite, requiring meals many times per day. It will feed on sweet, sugary food--anything from nectar to entire flowers, to fruits and sweet plant matter. It will have the strong sense of smell of the African Wild Dog to help it in its constant hunt for food.

You are free to redesign the blue/green/pale/wing color areas of the body colors as you see fit.

@Bones
