Wilder shrugged and turned back to her cream. That was okay that it wasn't pink. Blue was a nice color too! If she really didn't like it she could probably find something to change the color. There were many different spells she didn't know, after all!

Once she was done, she stepped back and began to clean her whiskers. "Thank you for the ring and the cream!" So engrossed in her wash and ecstatic from her gifts, she almost forgot to ask a very, very important question. When she realized that she hadn't asked yet, she paused and placed her paw back on the ground.

"Say, Collector...I was wondering. You know a lot of things. I'm looking for someone. He's a moose called Blueberry. Have you seen him around?"

"I have not," he answered mildly, and immediately. He hadn't been given the name of the slain moose, so far as he recalled, nor did he care--he might have observed Blueberry in the past but the Gembounds' names were (mostly) unimportant to him.

"If it ends in -berry, however, I suspect he has many enemies. Perhaps he is in hiding--or a prisoner, somewhere." There was faint amusement in the Collector's tone.

Wilder's ears, which had been perked, waiting for the Collector's answer, drooped with disappointement. "Oh...okay. Well, Blackberry's looking for him. I told her I'd help her find him. She's not bad," she added on the end, "she's just really sad. I want to make her happy again." And of course, happiness was what Blackberry had before she had been sad. Wilder sometimes assumed far too much.

She looked back down at the bowl and leaned forward to lick up the last bits of cream before she looked back at her friend, a smile back on her face. "Well, if you hear anything, will you tell me? And if you need me to do anything else I'd be happy to! I had a lot of fun!"

Sad, hmm? This was good to note. And if this creature was someone she was looking for, then perhaps it was the dead moose..?

The Collector offered none of these thoughts to Wilder. Instead he merely gave her a non-commital "Mmhmm," before quickly following it up. "If you happen to come back this way, and I have heard something, I will certainly let you know. Tell the Caves about me, would you? I do so love offering out these gifts to the worthy. Speaking of--may yours serve you well."

The hooded, cloaked figure abruptly vanished--only for a hand to reach out of seemingly nothing, taking the empty stone bowl, before also slipping away into thin air.

The Collector has exited the thread.

Wilder nodded, glancing back at her ring again with affection. She'd certainly put it to good use! The Collector was gone now so Wilder had no reason to stick around. With a wave of her tail she turned and headed towards the tunnel leading towards Orion. She had another lead to follow and hopefully this one proved more fruitful.
