Life's a happy game

His tail wagged excitedly, whole body following it. Oh, yay! He was getting the hang of this!

Adjusting his grip on the leg, he thrashed his head from side to side, feeling the rest of the teddy-bear hit his head, his neck, his barrel. Oh boy, this was fun! It was like thrashing around a Windhopper, but without the blood and the meal afterward.

On the upwards arc of his head, he released the leg, sending the teddy-bear flying into the air. He waited for it to nearly hit the ground before lunging forward, grabbing it by the ear.

Max grinned around the ear--that had been close!

Tapping his paws, prancing in place, his tail wagged, and he "Boof"-ed around the teddy-bear. He was having a blast! The dog ran in a circle, trailing the teddy-bear beside him, before flinging it upwards, lunging to catch it. Front paws leaving the ground, his mouth closed securely around its torso.

He had done good! He had been a good dog!

Max wagged his tail, eyes crinkling. The teddy-bear sat securely in his mouth, and he began to run, racing around in sheer glee at such a good catch. This was the most fun he had had in ages, aside from the race that he still did not understand the reason for.

Too excited to stop himself, Max flung the teddy-bear into the air, lunging and barely catching it by the leg before it could hit the ground.

Max wagged his tail--he couldn't tell what was better: close catches, where he only caught him by their ear or tail or leg, or the good dog catches, where he caught it good and strong by its torso. They were both fun!

So he flung the teddy-bear again, watching it fly up, up, up and away. A desperate lunge, but it was too far away to catch.

The dog began to trot to where the teddy-bear had landed, his 'third-eye' glowing bright. It was flung into the air by a sudden explosion beneath it, and he barked excitedly, rearing up to catch it.

Teeth closed tight around the teddy-bear's torso, and he growled as he landed, shaking it violently in a celebratory fake-kill.

Snarling, Max hopped from side to side, clinging to the teddy-bear. This was so so so so so fun!

Teddy-bear clenched in his teeth, he reared up, the stuffie flinging upwards and slamming into the back of his head. He hit the ground hard, lowering his head as though he were going to buck like a horse, slamming the teddy-bear into the ground. Rearing back up, the teddy-bear was flung high into the air, and far behind him.
