Zelk felt completely natural in Tunnel M, and it was one of her most favorite places in the caves. As a polar bear, she was made for the freezing climates the was within this tunnel. She felt at home here, even though the entirety of the caves was considered her home. But she didn't come here to enjoy the climate of the tunnel. No, she came here to further test her skill. The icy floor was a good place to test her earth magic, but Zelk was careful to make sure that she did not slip. She rose up on her paws and then slammed down. The polar bear was careful to not put all her force on the ice though, as a precaution. The ground then shook for a moment beneath her paws, and Zelk felt pride swell inside her. She was a guardian of the Bonebound, so practicing her magic to better defend the group, was imperative.

Zelk decided to try again this time, still making sure to be careful. It was obvious she was getting better with her earth magic, and paired with her strength she would be a force to be reckoned with. Zelk raised herself on her hind legs and slammed down again, watching the force she used. The ground then shook again beneath her paws. Zelk knew she had to find a new way to use her earth magic. Was there more she could do besides shake the ground beneath her? She didn't know, but maybe she would find that out another time. She knew physical strength wasn't enough. Magical strength was just as important.

Zelk decided to try her magic one more time. If she were to get into a conflict, she would be more than capable of defending herself. Practicing her magic had given her the confidence she needed as a guardian of the Bonebound. If she was to defend the Bonebound, and live up to the name of the Guardian, then having doubt was completely unacceptable. She rose up on her hind legs again and slammed down. Nothing happened, and there was silence. Well, two out of three was better than nothing. Though she knew she was still capable of controlling her earth magic, practice makes perfect. Maybe she should try again? Yes, she should.

Zelk tried again for the last time to try and get another success on using her earth magic. She reared up again and slammed down. The ground shook, and finally Zelk was satisfied. Good, that should be enough practice for now. Considering she had gotten three successful attempts at using her magic, she decided to go hunt something to eat. Maybe some fish or some cave deer should do nicely. As Zelk walked out of the tunnel, she was careful to make sure she did not slip on the icy floor. The bear was probably going to stuff herself with food, as a bear should.
