The crow nodded. Slowly she managed to scamper up Ghanyarah's back, slipping a little due to a weak grip and wet scales. She sat on the komodo dragon's neck, trying to fluff herself up but to no avail.

She was unusually quiet for a moment, barely even thinking. Eve just waited for Ghanyarah to begin moving and when he did there came a tiny little sigh from the crow's beak. "Thanks," was all she said through the whole journey.

With the crow on his back, Ghanyarah started to head off, clambering along the roots before he managed to reach (relatively) dry land again. The ground was still squishy with mud and water, but it was easier to maneuver than the roots in the water. No matter how composed the komodo dragon seemed at the moment, he was admittedly still a little shaken by the affair. The earthquake was unexpected and perpetrated Eve's claims of the tree being evil, but Ghanyarah was still hesitant to believe her completely. He didn't want to give up going to the art tree, he'd left something important there!

Well... Ghanyarah would just have to keep going back to see what other kinds of things would happen. It was a mystery he was determined to solve.
