Don't you ever tame your demons

Kerberos was almost sure this thing was dead... And then, with a twitch and a jerk, the thing came to like as if a puppet, it's wings tugging up like fingers on a marionette. He stepped back, alarmed, as the black offspring of the batcat hissed at him. What was it? Why was it so angry? He wasn't trying to eat it, not yet! Did this thing want to fight him? It could barely stand. Kerberos would wipe the floor with it!

... And yet. "Hey! Chill," he woofed, his tail swishing behind his three headed entourage. "Not gonna eat you. Kerberos. Friend. Listen and learn and speak!" Was it broken in the head? Even he was better at understanding the confusing world than this thing and he wanted to eat everything. What was this thing so scared of, it wasn't that small or anything!

"I'll eat you if I have to," he threatened softly, lowing his head and bearing his teeth. The other two heads simply stared, bewildered, watching for what the scrawny baby was about to do. "So calm down, alright," he suggested, this head's voice even, but stern, mimicking the same tone as the most recent gembound he had met: Giggle.

The creature began to back up as Kerberos wagged his tail and began to speak to it. The little Batcat mimic couldn't entirely comprehend his words, nor did it really care. All that seemed to weigh on its mind was survival and destruction. It flared its wings at the three-headed dog, registering nothing of its words before uttering a loud hiss. It knew it barely stood a chance against this Gembound, especially one so big, with three heads - and being only recently produced itself, had very little experience. It would have to seek out its parent before it could do anything. So, Batcat Jr. whirled around and clumsily bolted away from the dog, flapping its wide wings. With a few great strokes, the frail creature lifted itself into the air. Its flight was far from graceful, but at least it could escape. Batcat Jr. would most likely seek this place out again.

Exit Batcat Jr.
