Kalama picked the trio of stones up, nestled them beneath her wings. She trotted back to her diamond, a slight limp to her steps. The diamond still glowed with a faint light. A chrysalis seemed to be forming, slowy though. Much too slowly for Kalama. Kalama narrowed her eyes at it. She dropped the trio of rocks she'd picked up. "These gemstones will become an egg much faster!" She said, taunting it. No reaction from it.

"It'll be a much cooler gemstone!" It was still quiet. Kalama snorted. "Fine, be that way then." She looked at the trio of gemstones, picking one out at random. She pressed her beak to the Jet gemstone, and willed her magicka to flow into it. Too much or too little, the gemstone cracked instead. Kalama let out a frustrated cry. She kicked it away with a foot. "Useless!"

Disgruntled, Kalama curled up next to the diamond. She'd rest here, for a bit. Wait for the gemstone to hatch. As the seconds slipped by, Kalama's eyes gradually slipped shut. And then she was dozing. Asleep til the next opportunity presented itself.
