The land critter tried unsuccessfully to speak under the water which elicited a little giggle from Eeya. These land critters weren't so good at speaking in the water like him which was a shame. It was amazing that he could even stay under water this long without drowning or freezing. In any case he would just have to keep his eye on the canine to make sure he wasn't drowning himself. That would be easy enough.

At his nod of affirmation Eeya gave an excited squeal of excitement. "Great, great! We have much fun! Let's--" He trailed off when he saw the canine trying to hit at his artificial light. Eeya turned himself right-side up as he shook his head. "No no! Silly land critter, you no can touch light! Go right through, see?" With that he floated upwards to the light and put his beak right through it. He made a great show of pushing his beak up and down which would be moving the light if it was a tangible thing but since it wasn't his beak just went straight through it.

"We can play with bubble rings! See?" He swam downwards, eye level with Kerberos as he began to make bubbles from his blowhole. One of the bubbles he began to move around with his beak until it was a great large thing, the center of which Kerberos could fit through. "Eeya can make'em big!" He giggled as he demonstrated the proper way to swim through a ring. "You can swim through?" He questioned the pup, curious at what he could do.
