Azrael stood up taller as he stared down at the beast. He wasn't sure how much he liked it - it resorted to cheap measures to win the fight - instead of standing up in honorable fighting, it had only slunk back into the darkness to hide. Not to hide with it, as he did, but to hide within it, using the darkness as a tool instead of embracing it.

Eyes narrowed as he glared. "I am AZRAEL. I do not care who you are but I will warn you now. If you decide to make me the target of a real hunt, I will not pull back my flames again." With one final snarl he turned and walked away, darkening the way as he went, trying to hide the sting of loss and the envy of the beast's abilities.

It widened its eyes at Azrael's warning and watching as he strode away, eyes narrowed. But...it didn't really care. It had found a very good design to report to Master Vargas and it had successfully pulled off a hunt against it. It would be very proud to report this when it returned.

It stood and shook out its pelt before sitting back down and twisting to give itself a bath before it returned to Orion.
