What was your initial impression of Origin?
Omg, this site is so complicated ;.; there's no way I'll ever be able to do anything or learn anything to rp here...
What is it now?
Omg, this site is so awesome! 8D I understand it fully and it wasn't nearly as hard (not hard at all really) to understand as I thought it would be.
How would you describe the site layout? Is it accessible, streamlined, clunky, distracting, etc
I think it's pretty nice and streamlined once you learn it. The only complaint I have is that the cbox extends too far to the right and covers up the boards and you have to continually toggle it. I would also suggest a feature to allow quick switching between accounts rather than having to log out.
In your own opinion, how should we implement species statistics on the Statistics page?
I say list species by the animal's relations... like have a feline section, canine, avian, etc. Maybe even have an herbivore vs omnivore vs carnivore list.
In your own opinion, how should we implement a player list?
I think it would be good to list the player name then next to it put the characters that said player has plus genders... Like how Banshee listed.
In your own opinion, how frequently should we add new quests?
I say it should be a monthly thing, keep a few open at a time to keep members engaged.
In your own opinion, describe the functional level of staff activity. Do we meet or exceed it, or do we need improvement?
The staff are outstanding :3 you guys exceed expectations.
What kind of improvements would you make to Origin?
It's pretty good thus far :3 It's a fun site with few issues.
What kind of suggestions do you have for Origin, in terms of features, accessibility, presentation, etc?
Just the afformentioned things with the cbox, and adding an account switcher.

What was your initial impression of Origin? immediate impression: eh, i don't know about this, i guess it looks kinda cool. let me see what the rules are... like the guidebook, makes it easy to find stuff, eh, but there's so much to read.... im gonna go on the work computer instead of use my phone
after reading the guidebook: oh my god i want to join how do i join.... look!! magic!!!!! and its really cool! actually this is a lot like From Scratch oh man oh man I should tell my buddies over there about that if they haven't seen the ad already???
What is it now?
oh god. i want to make 500 characters but i will never be able to keep up. also how is this site so awesome??? i hope activity never dies because all of these people are perfect and everyone's characters are SO GOOD...
How would you describe the site layout? Is it accessible, streamlined, clunky, distracting, etc?
it looks rly good on my work computer but at home, yes, as everyone has said the sidebar is annoying and terrible. its a bit better zoomed out but i think it might be better to just shrink the forum's width over all if we can do that so the side bar has more room. alternatively: it might be better to have it on the other side, possibly have it not go any higher than the User CP box?
In your own opinion, how should we implement species statistics on the Statistics page?
i would say do it by how you list what's acceptable, or by family group, something like canine, feline, etc would be good. if you also
In your own opinion, how should we implement a player list?
like so;
@username
character name, ## cycles, gender, magic, group
character name, ## cycles, gender, magic, group
character name, ## cycles, gender, magic, group
@username
character name, ## cycles, gender, magic, group
character name, ## cycles, gender, magic, group
character name, ## cycles, gender, magic, group
etc. Something that makes it clear who's character belongs to who, and lists them in neat little bundles that makes it easy to go through!
In your own opinion, how frequently should we add new quests?
Once a quest is completed. Perhaps, once an ENTIRE quest is finished wait a few days to give a break, and give mods time to come up with a good idea. This would also allow for people to have some downtime to check out the quests that are still going, and also allow a few days for people to read the entire Old Quest (it could be in a news thing with all the Part Threads put together, maybe a whole discussion thread or something, maybe people could vote for the best bit and best/most contributing character etc etc!) before another one starts :'D
In your own opinion, describe the functional level of staff activity. Do we meet or exceed it, or do we need improvement?
You guys are fantastic. Don't overwork yourselves and we'll be all good :D
What kind of improvements would you make to Origin?
eh i dont know, what everyone else has said mostly, shrugs
What kind of suggestions do you have for Origin, in terms of features, accessibility, presentation, etc?
my brain has stopped working because im like QUESTS but yeah I think what everyone else has suggested has been pretty much my feelings on the whole ordeal.
Oh, and please make an easier way to switch accounts if you can. It's one of the few things keeping me from making more characters D:

What was your initial impression of Origin?
"Oh a wolf rp."
What is it now?
"Uhm. No. Not another wolf rp."
I really think you guys have hit on something gold. I love the concept and the execution of it. It's a really interesting way to handle so many different species in a way that "makes sense" and that isn't utterly cheesy. I love the premise enough that I've deviated from the world of angsty human rp to do some animalz. Which it's been a while since I've done so. :>
How would you describe the site layout? Is it accessible, streamlined, clunky, distracting, etc?
I'd like the layout a lot more if I didn't find the toggle sidebar a bother. I like the idea of it there - I really do - but I have a sense that the layout was created by someone with a (very) widescreen monitor. With a resolution of about 728 wide, the sidebar overlaps the forum. Which isn't that much of a problem, but the problem is the z-index. The toggle sidebar is ontop of the forum and behind the table at the top. If you could set the z-index so the cbox isn't behind some elements and ontop of others, I'd find it less irksome (from an aesthetics standpoint).
Besides that, it's grand. :>
In your own opinion, how should we implement species statistics on the Statistics page?
I'm not a fan of bans. I think it's alright if there's a ton of one species and none of another... but I don't think you'll run into that problem just by how varied it already is. I think for the purpose of keeping count of the species, I'd do it by the broad grouping you have in the guidebook for the most part (maybe breakdown the carnivora order a bit more) and - for those specific animals that have three [or five] or more, list them individual. Like...
Primates: 7
--- Gorillas: 5
--- Other primates: 3
Canidae: 16
--- Timber wolves (scientific name): 4
--- Maned wolves: 10
--- Other canids: 2
But in a cool chart. :>
In your own opinion, how should we implement a player list?
Yes. Please add. I like what Banshee came up with by using symbols, but really as long as the following info is in there somehow, it's all gravy:
Player Name
-- Character Name
-- "" Element
-- "" Magick Mastery Level
-- "" Species
-- "" age
-- "" gender
-- "" group
-- "" rank in group (?)
In your own opinion, how frequently should we add new quests?
I'd shoot on keeping a healthy number (and update however frequently to keep that healthy number... healthy). I can't give an exact number on how many quests should be active at any given time. It depends on various factors - how many members we currently have and how involved / interested those members are in doing quests. You just gotta keep a feel for it. Though sidenote: group-specific or group-related quests would be cool.
In your own opinion, describe the functional level of staff activity. Do we meet or exceed it, or do we need improvement?
I think you're doing alright, especially given how involved in actual GMing the game is. >:) I don't envy having to do the npc work ontop of admin duties.
What kind of improvements would you make to Origin?
