Comet smiled, today had started out as a hunt with Aristotle, but they had arrived in time to meet James emerging from his chrysalis. What a turn of events! She allowed her paws to relax as the horse started on his way to home. Now, the family was complete. Resting her head on the horse's mane, she drifted off to sleep.

Hope is but a waking dream

Aristotle smiled warmly as he gently touched noses with James. He couldn’t have been happier to have his partner back. He had missed him more than he could ever put words to. He had not been alone without James, he had had the children. But he was still lonely without the one gembound he loved more than any other.

A light chuckle left the lion as he looked up at his partner. ”I couldn’t ask for a more loving and loyal partner. Thank you James.” Aristotle spoke in that warm gentle tone that he carried most of the time. A gentle smile rested on the lion’s muzzle as he watched Comet settle herself in between James’ wings.

With everyone in their place, Aristotle took the lead and started off towards home. He wondered what Sun had been up to while Comet and himself had gone off on her hunting lesson.
