Yurei has been consumed by the void of the loneliness,one herself chose.Afraid of most of things she optated for sleeping in her crysalis for the past few cycles feeling no reasons to keep existing.She never joined the seven as she decided not to bother them by her awful self,by her unwanted self.Eyes of red were dry,emotionless ,they were tired after not sleeping last night. She needed to stop,to stop falling against the fear,against the need to run away. There in the silent tunnels she walked without direction trying to keep her steps silent ,after sleeping for so long she lost any sense of orientation within these caves and yet she just wanted to clean her thoughts.Little she knew a claimed land was close,dangerously close. Aran was taking a break from... whatever the group was doing. As it turned out, building a hut was the first big project the group was to do, and then build more for the rest of their members. One of the gembound in the group had created a solid plan, though Aran was pretty sure that he wouldn't be of much use, there.

He was planning on returning soon, to help them with the rest of the preparation before they went and hunted down materials. The lack of opposable thumbs would be a challenge. He was there to protect the group, not be a builder. With all of the softer gembounds being in the group, some had to step up and be stronger for the rest of them. Aran had enough experience to do it, at least he thought he did.

As he stood there, someone almost familiar came into view. As she moved closer, the pelt and the canine body almost reminded him of Comet. Except it wasn't Comet. This wolf was too shy, and didn't have those scars. Someone from a long time ago came to mind.

"Yurei?" He questioned. Man, if that wasn't her he really would be embarrassing himself. Even the shyness radiating off of her was the same as that wolf from a long time ago.

Yurei's path seemed one only one would find in a lost soul,one with no place in the world,with no one to return to.She was alone ,and it was fine but at some point.It gave her the safety she needed and wished to keep,but like in the other hand,it was devouring any sense of time,any sense of happyness.She lost some of her capability to talk properly and little she knew about anything someone her age should know by now. But it was too late to reverse any damage she caused herself but only time would tell if that was true or not,but for now that was all she knew. But there she heard her name,something that made her be highly surprised. Aran,he was the one who called her name.Seeing a familiar face made her get out of her sourness for at least a few instants. He frowned when he realized it actually was her. She never did get out of her... shyness? Could he call it that? It felt more sad than anything else. Maybe their past conversation didn't get through her head. He'd hoped she would have had the strength to get out of that old habit, but she didn't. Aran changed a lot since then, himself. From his experience with almost dying. And then other things happening in between.

She used that weird thing before his name again, amusement bubbled up from his chest. "Like I said before, just Aran is fine." It almost made him feel more special than he actually was, respected.

His head turned to look back in the direction of the group, to see no one appearing. They would try to push her to join them, surely. Though it seemed like they were too busy with the hut to send anyone to look for him - or they just didn't notice he was gone. Either option was fine.

"I haven't seen you for many cycles." He said. Maybe it was because Yurei was a familiar face, but he was in a somewhat good mood now. "What have you been up to? I joined a group that lives here, i'm sure they would welcome you if you wanted a place to rest for a little while."

The red eyed woman stood there with her natural submissive posture,but since he wasnt an stranger she did feel less stressed.And thus she did looked at his eyes and tried to dont show more fear than she already did. She could reaclla their previous meeting,the conversation they had.And she knew she failed to made what he suggested,she tried to join a group to try changing her mind but at the end she couldn't. "Okay,Aran.." She nodded shyly to his suggestion. "What have you been up to? I joined a group that lives here, i'm sure they would welcome you if you wanted a place to rest for a little while." "I...well i tried to join a group...and i even went there and spoke to their leader but...at the end...i stepped back...and i am alone again...i tried to be brave but...I ...though i wouldn't be of any use...and i was afraid of disappointing them..." She decided to stop,she realised she was being too stupid and she didnt want to be a dumb before others. Moving to his invitation she looked up to him. "I dont know...i feel unsafe around big crowds...and again i dont want to fail...I dont know anything that others could use beside bacteria...." She explained calmer than before. Aran wondered why Yurei felt like that - he understood, sure, but why? She chose to leave the opportunity she got and Aran couldn't understand that part. Wouldn't gembounds want to take most offers they got if it would benefit them in some way? He stance was almost peruile in nature, as if a child was meeting someone for the first time.

"You can always ask people to teach you." He replied. "Or you can try to learn on your own - i think we both use the same kind of magic, too."

Aran also had a lot to learn, despite being alive for some time. Even if he knew a good few things, there was always more to learn. Especially with those scrolls that he had, he still hadn't made anything from them. Even though the paper showed him how to do the things descripted through images.

"I don't think you would dissappoint anyone if you tried to be helpful."

Herself knew how dumb it was from her to had rejected the opportunity to join others,to allow herself to be part of something that could actually help her not only in her magic but as a person aswell,but at the end fear won reason and here she was alone again,but maybe she should take the chance this time and with a familiar face this time she had nothing to lose. Or she hopped so. "I understand...I wish i wasnt a coward to even ask for something at all...i really want to change..." And it was true that she wanted this,she was sure that she needed this but how to defeat fear? "And...is it hard to join your group?..." She asked hopping this place wouldn't be one who only offered harsh treatment and existence. "I don't think you would dissappoint anyone if you tried to be helpful." "I want to be helpful for once in my life...and have you been here long?" She asked wanting to try asking stuff herself. Actions "SPEECH" "Others speech"

He was surprised when she asked how hard it was to join the Edenfolk, but Aran had basically offered it from the start. Having someone he considered a friend would be nice, especially within the group of gembounds he didn't really understand (except for maybe James who hung around sometimes). Everyone in the Edenfolk was overly friendly, so much so that he figured they would allow anyone within it even if they were there to tear the group apart. But the gembounds could protect one another from that, it was Aran's job himself after all.

"They'll let anyone in as long as they're not rude." He said.

It was painfully true but somehow Aran didn't mind it. As long as no one came in and pretended to be someone they were not. The next question wasn't surprising either.

"The group was just formed." He said with a pause. "I've been here since then - my job is to protect everyone from any danger that may come near."

She took a few monets to think her next words,considering if to attempt to join,to join and learn to be a normal Gembound and help others, or to just walk away and keep with her boring and sad life? Well she did prefer the first choice,and Aran could maybe help her. "Ill join...who do I speak to join?..." She was scared and wished to run but she needed to be strong and give this little but important step to someday be a better wolf. He then explained his job here,seemed dangerous and she definitely wouldn't be that."I dont know what i could help with," She admitted now with a calm voice,calm on her own way. Aran honestly wasn't expecting her to agree to join - she had turned her back on the other group that she tried to join even though she was so close to joining it. Perhaps it was due to the lack of a familiar face, or something like that. Maybe Yurei was cloy, afraid of all the good things in life. Some could call Aran the same, even if he wasn't shy like the wolf woman. Though he supposed death would do that to you.

"They don't care who joins." He shrugged. "So you talking to me should be enough, though if you want to meet the leader I could introduce you." Aran added.

Fighting the lessers and other gembounds that threatened their little sanctuary definitely wasn't the job for the white wolf to do. There was no way in hell that she would be able to do it without getting hurt, or killed. He didn't want to think about it.

"There's a lot of things that you could do, you don't even have to pick a specific job if you don't want to."
