James slowly lead the filly into the empty house, looking around briefly. Ari must be out with Sun and Comet, good, he thought.

Picking fruit off of one of the trees, he set it down before running off to get a blanket. He dragged a larger fur from his and Ari's bed, making his way back to Stormy. He urged her to lay down and gently draped the fur over her before laying his wing over her as well.

"Here, eat this," he said, "They are very sweet and nourishing."

Apples and peaches, specifically. He nudged two of the fruits over as he settled down beside Stormy, hoping Ari didn't arrive before he'd gotten her settled. Another horse was one thing, but a lion? As lovely as Ari was, suddenly being face to face with a predator was a shock to anyone, even him, all those months ago. He remembered the chase and then the apologies, and then the sheepishness of the two of them, embarrassed.

He smiled gently and focused on Stormy again, shaking his head.

@Stormy

The little filly now that she was far warmer she walked with ginger pace as she kept up with James. As they reached a strange structure she had never seen before, her nose was assaulted by the scents of other creatures that had once been there. The little girl stopped short. Her body quivered once as she sniffed at the structure. Her silver ears pointed forward, listening for a moment. However she watched James walk right in as if it was perfectly safe. Her moment of doubt over the young girl slowly made her way into the structure, her head bent low.

The girl cast her grey hazel gaze around the structure. Two things grew tall out of the ground, glowing stones were strung from the tree around the room. She saw the many different plants that were growing in the structure. Her gaze fell back onto her much darker and winged counterpart. He was plucking fruit from the trees that grew in the center of the room. She walked further into the room finally stopping a few feet away from the twisted trees.

The little filly slowly rocked down to the ground carefully folding her legs under her. She looked at the two things in front of her. One a bright red color, the other a light pinkish yellow. She couldn’t help but wonder where James had gone off to, as she inspected the fruit curiously sniffing them both. Then James returned dragging something with him that he wrapped around her. It was almost instantly warmer under whatever he had put on her. Then he urged her to eat the two things he had placed in front of her. Leaning down the little filly easily crunched through the crisp flesh of the red thing. She lifted her head, chewing as she let the flavor sink in. It was amazingly sweet and juicy, nothing like the sparse grasses, lichens, and moss she had been eating in Pisces. ”Mmm You’re right, it really is sweet!” She exclaimed enthusiastically. She looked up at James, her grey hazel eyes curious. ”So… You’re like me, but not like me. Do you know what our kind is called?” Her curiosity led her to ask questions. She had no idea what she was just that her name was Stormy. Then she looked at James, once again noting his feathered frills and hindquarters and his expansive wings. ”Are we the same thing?” She asked sweetly her innocent eyes portraying her naivete.

@James
