Was it cruel, that Vargas nearly did not suggest a chaperone, with the vague knowledge that a Forge without Chaos-Two might have one less problem to manage? He subdued that thought quickly, and grunted. He still did not think of this one as a person. He still did not allow emotion to stand in the way of advancement. "Ensure you are safe when you do so. Do not neglect your duties--your training--for it. But if you can find guides, in the caves, to teach you of them--that may be one more thing to pass to the new creations."

Vargas offered Chaos-Two a nod, and pushed up off his haunches. "You will have more time to explore later on--when you have proven yourself--but for now, you may. Limit it to these regions, nearby. Come to me when you have learned anything at all; or come to me with questions." A pause, half-awkward--and then, a nod. "You're dismissed."

"I will, sir. Thank you," Chaos-Two said.

They paused for a moment, as if to say something else, before just standing up, "I'll go find Doctor now and let him know of your orders. Have a good day, Master Vargas."

And with that, they trotted off, their little tail wiggling like an excited lamb's would, unable to keep their happiness stoppered. Quickly, they made off towards where the bird was roosting, eyeing the owl with a tiny bit of- was that dislike?

It was understandable, at least.

Perhaps after they spoke to Doctor, they could make off to Pegasus again to explore the resources there. Prey, possible vegetarian options for Zoisite. Yes. Once that was done, they'd report back and end their day on a fantastic note.
