The guardian had, indeed, gone taut when Draconua wrestled free of her binds, and kept his magic at the ready. A breeze worried at his arms, barely stirring the feathers along either of his torsos.
"Vargas, the Leviathan," she said. Azigh braced himself—"and not by any order of his."
Is that so?
She was well and truly convinced of her meaning—however pathetic that existence might be; perhaps, he could not blame her for it. If a Master had made her for raining destruction, then that was the essence of her existence. But, Azigh? He needed to protect Pegasus.
Smothering a flame beneath a foot, the guardian spoke harshly, "that is not for me to decide." He took a careful step to the side, away from the Gembound present. "However, you will not bring harm to any part of this room—or any of those that live within it." Whether or not your Master will approve of it.
He gestured toward Tunnel G with an arm, one-thousand-voices edged with warning: "lead on to your Master, then, if you feel so inclined towards not being crushed by the wind."
Regardless of Draconua's response, Azigh gazed at the Gembound—studying them briefly. "Be careful of what fire there is, and... thank you." Wings shuffled at their sides. "If you ever have need of it, there is a refuge at the end of this cavern." He knelt down to pick up his lantern, already fixated back on watching the Valkhound. "The wall is an illusion, and only those bearing good intent can pass through it."
Then, he followed after the Sleepless Chaos, knuckles blushing gold as they clutched the haft.

Draconua watched. The scent of burning hair clung to her, strands still yet smoldering away into vantablack smudges. Pinholes fixed hard on Azigh, even while he was clearly looking the other direction. A sore temptation to attack while he'd turn away crawled up her spine, but she would be pinned beneath the wind once again.
Believe it or not—the valkhound could be (somewhat) reasonable.
She snarled her lip up ("Fine, then.") at the limitation and biting remarks, huffed a plume of smoke, and picked her way through the thicket. Azigh was no master, but his authority was proven nonetheless. The Sleepless Chaos swallowed down her inclinations—they'd been satisfied to some degree... for now.
If she gored a few trees on the way out, it was in passing and like scratching an itch one couldn't reach.

The valkhound high above squinted down, gently soaring in the wind as he tucked in his limbs just slightly more, lightly sneering down to Draconua. Perhaps he was lucky that he was out of range.
His flight-path barely faltered at the mention of Vargas, but he was shocked. Vargas was nearby, then? Vander's head swiveled to the side, nausea rising in his gut as he looked to the tunnel. Vargas was right there. Vander could talk to Vargas. See what he could do. Rejoin with his family- no. They were not his family. Hissing quietly from the roof of his mouth, Vander circled on more, watching idly.
A refuge had been mentioned, and Vander's ears flicked in the wind at that. It would be good to know about it. Perhaps he could utilize it keep beings- his loved ones weaker allies- safe in times of conflict.
If only it weren't so far from Hydra.
No matter. He waited and watched as the two of them headed to the tunnel before angling himself to the far point of the room, eyes set on it.

James breathed in and out as he slowly landed, some fires burning nearby. He stared off after Draconua and shivered gently.
So those are the monsters Vargas 'commands', he thought.
He turned to Comet and nudged her gently, "Come on. Let's go try and put out some of these fires."
He was a little stunned as he walked away, off to help Comet douse the flames with water and pumpkins. Hopefully smothering them would work if water didn't.

Comet hears a voice through the pain. Sharp! The little lizard was telling her to get up. "Yeah-- I'm okay..." she manages to stumble onto her feet, the world still blurry. She didn't have the strength to help James put out the fires no matter how hard she tried. "I'll-- I'll go back home and rest for a bit renny." Comet gave Sharp a pained smile and walked back home.

More, more snarling. More, more bellowing. Sharp trembled behind the body of Comet as the kaijus sorted out their... little mess... only breathing a sigh of relief when the valkhound seemed sated with her destruction. Then, the two kaijus simply walked out like nothing happened, and everything was back to normal again.
James came by to collect the wolf, and the lizard stood back, still trembling with shock. A weak "Haha, good to see you're okay!" and a "Hi, James!" as the renny-daughter pair left to stomp out the flames. And finally, when she was certain no one was left in this spot but her and the lessers, Sharp let out a well-deserved screech.
"*gasp* AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-"
What in the flipping heckadoodles was that?! Do big, scary monsters with sharp teeth that could've gobbled her up in an instant just... do that?? Are kaiju wildfires an occupational hazard of living here?! That fire burned so, so close to her hut. Maybe it already touched it. And the rest just... accepted it? Went to suffocate the ashes like this is fine? Frankly she believed they should all be running around in circles and screaming.
Did she have to warn Aerie and Huma?
After finally calming down to some level of sapience, Sharp casually picked herself up and went on her merry way. Man, these giants left some big footprints. She was just gonna shove this whole experience down to the very ends of her lizard brain and forget it, that's what she was gonna do. At least her cart wasn't touched--
... oh no...
"MY CART!"
Exit Sharp from the scene.
