I have an idea for a group so here it is!

Group name: The Majestic Flock

Summary: This group is made only for any kind of birds large or small, and creatures who are part bird. Nobility, beauty, diplomacy, and dignity are valued here. Birds are expected to contribute as a unit as they are all part of the same flock, the same feathers, same family.

Ranks

Royal family
The Avian King: A grown male bird who rules over the flock with a strong talon. His mate is The Avian Queen, by tradition.

The Avian Queen: A grown female bird who rules over the flock with a protective beak. Her mate is The Avian King by tradition.

The Avian Heirs: Heirs are gembounds, children of the king and queen who are heirs to the throne. They are groomed for their inevitable futures and will succeed their parents only when they have died. Until then they are treated with great respect and will hold as much authority as their parents when they reach four cycles.

Nobles of noble families: Noble families are high ranking birds of the flock who belong to different high ranking families. Each family goes by a name, for example, The Stark Family. Noble families are held in high regard and their opinion is greatly valued by the royal family. Respect should be shown to the noble families from lower ranked members of the flock.

Lower ranks
Fledglings: These are children under 4 cycles of age.

Hunter: These are birds who hunt to keep the flock fed

Healers: These birds look after the health of the birds in the flock.

Flight seekers: These are birds who reveal the history behind the caves and report back to the king and queen.

The talons: These are the defenders of the flock. Whether it is physically or with magic, they help keep the flock safe.

Tradition

It is preffered that those of the noble families marry into the royal family, but any birds are welcome to try and marry into the royal family.

The king and queen must be a mated pair.

Rank is important. Recognize yours and be aware of others.

Rules

Those who have no bird in their blood are forbidden entry from the flock.

The masters are above the flock. To be loyal to the flock is to be loyal, respective and submissive to the masters. Defy the masters and you are at grave risk of being kicked out of the flock depending on the severity of the offense. You also may be left to suffer at the feet of the masters themselves.

The children must be protected at all costs.

Festivals
Festivals to celebrate the prosperity of the flock are common, and other groups who have a good standing with the flock will be invited to come.

This is just a rough draft, and those interested on tweaking it and making the group with me are welcome
