Appearance: Mostly having the body and colors of a Sulmatler rooster, this hybrid is also characterized by its deer-like head, including antlers, and the pale speckles across its body reminiscent of its Life-giver. The child will be about three feet tall at the top of its head (not including antlers), and weighs about eighteen pounds (most of the weight being in the antlers). The hybrid is probably too heavy to fly effectively, being a little over twice the usual weight of a rooster. The feet are a strange hybrid between those of a chicken and those of a deer -- they appear as elongated hooves with three prongs, and a single rooster-like dewclaw on the edges.

Name: I'm still debating between a few but possibly one of the following!
Makas, Kibou, Luca or Arlo!

Gender: Male but might end up being genderfluid!

Personality: As a child full of energy and curiosity, the world is large and so cool yknow! Especially when the shadows(vicktor) talk to them. As they age they'll end up confused, upset and a bit bitter at times- due to the loss of their sight and how it isnt fair. But will be set on the right path till they find understanding(hopefully) and make the best of their life with friends and family by their side.
They'll be full of energy, probably strutting around and bouncing between confident but oh so clumsy and naïve.

Future Plans: I know I plan for them to be found by Vicktor in which he'll protect and follow the little baby around ensuring they grow up strong and safe. After all they dont seem too well built for any escape or combat by Vicktor's ideas.

But as they grow I plan for them to meet others and learn humility, kindness and empathy; Vicktor making sure the child learns and has everything he needed and was refused when he was a small baby. But i plan for them to constantly go out and about, try to learn new things- especially once their sight starts fleeing their sense; they will want to see and know all before the day it finally leaves. But even with their sight gone they will have hopefully a large collection of family and friends to share their life so even blind they'll never see darkness only the light of the love that surrounds them!

Also they are fungi in nature so I might play with the concept of having the fungi take over their blind eyes- but we'll see that right now seems a tad too mean for such a cute gembound LOL
They might learn a few fire spells and light spells as well to even the field if someone attempts to harm them later in life.


RP Sample: A small ball of feathers, ruffled and soft laid within the unusual nest. Almost overlooked by the amount of reeds and grass that coiled around them. A simple yet gentle nudge to their side and they are awake. Gently being prodded to start a new day; adventure and wonder simply ripe for the taking! Neck craning they yawn, smacking tongue against palate in a sleepy haze.

A low rumble echo'd around them, causing them to ruffle and preen in turn. Snout prodding their dark feathers in an attempt to wake up. Dark plumage shimmering a gorgeous cerulean when caught in the right light that speckled through the corner of the nest. They were doing their best but- something still seemed out of place in their attempt of self grooming; but such simple stumbles did not discourage him. He could ask for help- was told to after all! Rising to their feet they left the nest. The soft tapping and clicking of abnormal hooves against the smooth surface of the nest below. Today was a new day, and they were ready to get it started!

Personality:
Aria is infinitely curious, they want to know all things and will talk to anyone to get the answers they want. They are active, almost always up and running, not able to sit in one spot for long before they're up and going again. It means Aria will always want to explore and have a keen want for adventure. They'll try to map out every spot of every cave, though may find themselves failing. Aria also has an affinity for making friends, but meeting so many also leads to not being able to keep in contact with them all. It could possibly make them a pretty bad friend to have if the other gembound doesn't seek them out first.

Aria tries to keep their feathers cleaned at all times, they love looking nice, and looking nice makes them feel nice. It is a struggle from how much they move around, but Aria finds themselves loving the task no matter how hard it is to get dirt and mud out of soft feathers. Aria won't particularly ever try to fly on their own, preferring to stick to the ground but wondering what it would be like if they weren't afraid of heights. That, too, will be an issue for exploring.

As they get older, not much will change about them. They'll calm down a little bit, but the inability to stick to one area will stay throughout their life unless they find enough of a reason to stay in one place. It would make them feel trapped, but if they had to for someone else, they would.

Future Plans:
I could see them trying to map out the caves in its entirety somehow? Maybe through dyes? On a wall somewhere. They'll definitely try to join every quest to feed into their want to learn. I 100% see them trying to meet every NPC on the board and trying to become friends with them. Basically they'll try to collect as much information as they can lol, ask questions about everything, all the fun stuff. I also think they'd do good with all of the sensory magic, so that's something to look forward to! Could also see them studying the rift.

Aria didn't know why they agreed to do this. Well, no, they definitely did. The promise of finding cool items overrighted the chance of danger, not that Aria would have cared about the danger anyway. They've experienced danger before, and they've always came out okay! So... when they found themselves in a place covered by beautiful crystals, Aria was amazed. The cave looked like it could go on forever - maybe it was the crystals doing it? The top of the cave was the same... Looking like it went on and never stopped. Maybe they could find someone to fly up there and touch? It was a thought for later, especially since Aria planned to try and cleave off some of those crystals for later.

They plodded through the crystals and found water coming from... Above - a waterfall? They'd never seen one of those before! Everything about the cave was absolutely perfect - perhaps they could make a temporary home here? Just until they explored the whole thing and got what they needed. It wasn't like anyone was here to chase them off, anyway. They got closer to the water, something felt... Strange about it, but they didn't know what. Maybe they would have to stick around after all...
