Erebos yawned, showing its rows of teeth as it curled back its tongue. It was almost more cat-like than a person- and as it stretched out its long back, rows of quills quivering and clicking together as they stood up from its normally smooth spine. It liked this tunnel, a good bit, ever since it discovered it. The walls were closer than the nearby Ursa, snow existed for it to bury itself into, and it was all around just pleasant.

Grumbling, Erebos shoved itself forward, too lazy to push up. It had fallen asleep here a while back, and snow coalesced on its cold carapace, lowering its temperature and making it nearly wet. It hissed at that- it could deal with the cold, and it quite liked being in snow, but it was hard to move through it like it wanted to.

Reaching back, Erebos pulled out the rest of its tail from the snowdrift and picked bits of ice from its carapace, grumbling a wordless language to itself as it mentally complained about the crystalline irritants ready to dig at its skin.

Cryogen

Cryogen had been having a bit of a wander, these last few cycles- they'd had a lot to think about this last while. The Hunt had opened their eyes to them missing quite a bit, and missing their father, Warrior. Missing somewhere to belong.

Something to do, a purpose... that would be nice.

Alas- hooves are not meant for traversing ice, and they're cussing quietly under their breath as they attempt to stride carefully across the packed ice and knee-deep drifts, headed towards the room of stars to get out of this blasted weather. Hah. Blasted. Since the wind is... ah, nevermind.

Well, it would be a nevermind if they didn't spot the... what is that other Gembound, down the Tunnel a small ways? The other seemed patterned like them, maybe they're build for the ice and could help them out of their... erm. Predicament?

Cryogen snorts heavily out of his nose as his hoof slips on yet another part of deceivingly clear ice pretending to be stone, and he eyes the spot with a small amount of irritation.

Erebos pulled its head back as the sound of clicking drew its attention away from its carapace, round pupils mere pinpricks as it searched for the source. Who... Was that? Its bristles rose again for a brief moment as it worked in its head- a Greater?

They kind of looked like it.

Curling its tail closer and raising up somewhat, Erebos straightened itself out as it watched Cryogen slip on the ice, blinking blankly. They looked like it, and yet they weren't keeping their balance on the ice, something Erebos bet that it could do much better. Thankfully, it didn't have to worry about legs when it came to the surface, but...

Well, Erebos had nothing owed to this person, but it still opened its tooth-lined mouth, casually leaning on its own tail. "Your hooves," it growled, pointing a sharp claw to the being's legs. "Dig them in. Small steps." At least, that helped it when it was moving- keep its center of gravity stable, and don't push forward too hard, or else it'd go belly up.

Though, the hooves might have flat bottoms. Too bad for the Greater, Erebos figured, settling back into its thick tail once more.
