Appearance: It seems this child has come out an almost perfect replica of the stone it came from.
This hunk of obsidian once belonged to a strange, fetus-like omnivorous creature, less than 1 foot in length. It was reminiscent of a cell structure-wise, with a slimy protective body around it that glowed a warm orange. This creature could harden the goo that surrounded it into limbs via tiny organs spread throughout its body. Those organs secrete an enzyme that rapidly hardened its slime into spikes. Once hardened, the creature could then grow nerves and bands of muscular cells along the organ and into these limbs, manipulating them as a normal creature of that type would. Despite its bright color and resemblance to magma, the creature was no warmer than average, and seemed to mainly use its color and growths as a form of self protection. It could expand its slimy body up to five and a half feet tall, or condense it down to 3 feet tall. To eat the creature merely needed to roll over a food item to begin passively breaking it down within its body.
