Appearance: This animal was a browser, mostly feeding on underwater vegetation (but also sometimes fish and crustaceans), living much of its life mostly submerged. It could not breathe water, but instead floated, waded or drifted, water supporting much of its weight. It had webbed feet with thick claws for digging out food, heavy, powerful jaws with tusk-like lower teeth, multiple horns (one of which was threaded through with its gemstone), and ridges and fins with a sideways-thrusting tail to aid in aquadynamic movement. It was generally very slow-moving and sluggish. Its eyesight and hearing were relatively poor, though it had four of each appendage. Its hide was rubbery and translucent, a solid white. It is 12ft tall at its highest point, and 25.5 feet long including its tail.

Randomized Child
Elayne x Ultraviolet

This child is a perfect mix between its parents. Six feet tall at the shoulder, it is heavily built, but long and feline, with a regal air to its every movement. Its oil-slicked coat is perpetually dripping, shining with oily hues. A fan-like crest, pearlescent within and oil-black without, cradles a head neither fully humanoid nor feline, but somewhere in between. Around and beneath this spills a lion's mane of writhing tentacles; from the shoulders sprout longer, thicker ones capable of grasping or striking. Still more serve as numerous "tails," some studded with powerful suckers and others, cephalopod-like barbs. Its Oilstone serves as a connected pair of bull-like horns: small, but downward-curved and sharp, striking in appearance. Retractable claws slide back within large, soft but strong paws.

This creature is also bioluminescent, and with practice can learn to control it: warm flame colors ignite along the suckers of its tentacles, as well as in a skull-like pattern atop its head. These match the flameglow color of its eyes.

Appearance: This monster has an odd beauty, with faers pastel blue coloration that shifts to white, inherited from pieces of faers ancestors, a great deal of which is heavily iridescent. In certain lighting, some of the pale blue on faer appears purple and some of the white appears red. Like the fairies fae descends from, fae is immune to faer own toxins. Fae possess the paralytic powder on faer wings as faer fairy ancestors do, but this child has immensely more of that on-contact effect toxin to shake off. Faers serrated teeth and back claws possess stonerot venom, like Mirrikh. For the most part, except for belly and head, Carnevale has a Golden Charger's armor on faer form. Where Carnevale lacks armor, faer has fine fur that in truth is as dangerous as the rest of fae. This fur is from the fairy larval stage, it can be shot at will like porcupine quills from fae's body, and it has a paralysis toxin meant as a defensive measure originally. Like Elayne's wings, Carnevale's are retractable and distinctly sturdier than butterfly wings. Fae has a serpent tongue, quite literally. Stands at seven feet tall, like Elayne. Stone is a pink topaz mask that stops above faer mouth.
