Movement from inside the chrysalis was the only indication that life was there before two back legs cracked it open, shattering the side. A small creature crawled out, moving to sit on the floor beside the thing she just hatched from. Blinking slightly, she took a moment to just.... look around.

Before she had a chance to do anything, a little creature, a small furry thing that looked like a mix between a ferret and a lizard with a neck flap of petals, came up to her. She cocked her head to the side for a moment, reaching out instinctually without thinking through what she was doing.

Hello little thing. She ran her hand gently over its back, pushing forward her own magic into the creature, forming a bond between them. She wasn't even fully sure what she did, but it felt nice, it felt right. A small smile crossed her lips as she pulled the creature into her arms, giggling as it curled around the back of her neck, settling onto her shoulders. Oh well, sure, you can stay there. Hmm, I need to give you a name, don't I?

As she thought of a name, she stood up, glancing down to see a curved stick not too far away. It was dingy, old and not at all perfect, but she figured she could work on it later, whittle it down with her claws or another object to make it look better.

After talking a bit with Pride, he genuinely got to understand more. Learning was key, using his magic was key. So the only way he knew how to get that, was to find a bunch of stuff and use it. Zephiran wanted to try something new. He wanted to try making a wand of a sort. While he was pawing his way through the misty forest, he stopped to glance at a piece of a branch. A large stick.

He placed his paw onto it, gathering the photons.. and he made it bauble. It lit up a bright blue, with stars flowing around it. An animation. One that didn't last long. Good enough for the use of pure decoration. A happy swift of his tail.

Then he heard a voice. Ears flickered, he reached to grab for his stick. Only to head towards the sounds. What could that be?

Her eyes slowly crinkle as she smiled, speaking to her little friend as they walked. It didn't speak back, but that was okay. She would soon learn their movements and sounds to be able to communicate with them, but for now, she would just have to guess a little, and that was okay.

As she walked, the form of another caught her attention and she smiled warmly. Oh. Hello there. Sorry if I startled you. She flicked her gaze to the stick, seeing the endings of the animation, and instantly she was curious. What's that? She pointed with her walking stick, keeping her distance respectfully, not wanting to make him feel uncomfortable at all.

The silvered pup was dragging the stick along with him through the forest. His paws began to drag in towards the chitter of footsteps. That's when he saw her. A cat? Standing on its hind legs. With a large stick wayy too big for her. But what's he to say about it? He planned on dragging this one back home..

Letting the stick rest against the forest floor, he smiled brightly. "Oh! That? That's my power. I can make things glow like that!"

His light colored paw pointed to the animated stick. Cyan eyes looked around for a moment. Nothing he would like to… bauble brightly. Maybe if he could form some sort of gem?

"I could show ya! Everyone has some sort of power, I think! I haven't seen anyone without something." Zephiran easily offered knowledge. Didn't think twice about not doing it. He'd put his paw down, Trying to summon a gem.

Alas nothing happened!

She cocked her head to the side and watched curiously, her eyes wide and expecting. When nothing happened, she furrowed her brows. Did.. something happen? Maybe she just didn't notice it? That was okay, it wasn't like she was mad about it, and it was clear she wasn't judging, just was trying to understand.

Everyone can do something? She asked for a moment as she looked at the ground, wondering what she could do. She slowly placed a hand on the ground, unsure what was going to happen, when she felt something move through her body and just like that, a sprout popped up out of the ground.

She gasped softly and looked up at the wolf, her eyes wide and her smile large. Look at that! You were right! She giggled softly and her face lit up, clearly excited about her new abilities along with her new friend.

"Yay! See you can do it too!" Zephiran did a tippy tap of his paws against the ground. Proud of the two legged feline. He chuckled, a grin rolled onto his gray muzzle. "Well! I can try to show you mind again. I can make light! Let's see.."

Turquoise eyes took the cavern around them. He sought out a much smaller stick than the one he grabbed. Picking it up gentle with his jaw, dropping the slobbered stick by her paws. He sought to breathe bauble onto it. Curious if he could light this one like he did with the one on his necklace.

It worked. The spell casted out of his maw. Onto the smaller stick. Just like the Turquoise color of his eyes, the stick glowed. Now it wouldnt do much like a torch. But at least it was something right?

"See! We all have different stuff. I haven't seen all of them but it's so neat!"

Her eyes widened slightly when she saw his powers, gasping softly as she knelt down to get a closer look. Ooh! That's so cool! She looked up at him, her eyes sparkling with a renewed curiosity. So it seems like each person has a different element of some sort. Yours seems to be light based, while mine seems to be plant based.

She let out a soft giggle, clearly enjoying this and finding it quite amazing to say the least. I think that's really cool. She brought a paw to her chin, seeming to think for a moment. Hmm, I wonder, what do you think element you'd choose other than light?

She turned her attention back to him, curious as to what he would choose, while also thinking about her own.
