After the disastrous results of this year's Olympics, Kin-Kin wasn't sure why she'd been called back. But after much deliberation, she finally returned, sitting in a largely flat area of stone and moss, that would make the perfect battle arena. She wasn't sure who her foe would be, and in her eyes was written that she didn't particularly care. She sat, chest puffed out, tail wrapped around her paws. Cape flowed lightly at her back.

She was almost like a statue, unmoving, waiting, expression unreadable. Her ears were pricked, listening for the slightest round. she was ready to begin, and eager to get this over with. But to the outsider, she radiated an aura of icy readiness. She was tired, and knew that this was the final step.

A warm glow fell upon the world around her, and the cave beyond her light's reach seemed dark. So dark.

now let the games begin

Dezba did not know why she bothered. Why fight the other losers? It was stupid. The mere fact that she lost at all was an embarrassment, but pitting her against other unworthys added insult to injury. What reward awaited her at the end, being queen of failure? There was no glory in that. All she wanted, was a real fight with Sebastian, but maybe she could use this other gembound to practice.


The black she wolf stepped out of the darkness like a shadow. The light unveiled her massive form. With cold, emerald eyes, she glowered down Kin-Kin, huffing her small, dainty form, and she wore a cape. This was going to be easy.

Dezba licked her lips and sauntered around the arena. "That's a nice cape," She said calmly with a smile. For once, there was no anger in her eyes, instead, there was something much, much darker. "It would be a shame to get it dirty."

Then, without warning, Dezba's face twisted into a horrendous snarl and she and flung herself at Kin-Kin, bloodlust in her eyes.

"Listen to me."

When her opponent revealed themselves, Kin-Kin did not flinch. She watched the stranger with violet eyes that showed a glimmer of cold amusement as she spoke. ”You’re wasting your time, kid. I lost to the best of the best,” she drawled, rising to her paws.

When the huge wolf lunged, sloppily at best, Kin-kin Stepped aside, her eyes narrowing to slits. She planted her paws firmly apart before lunging with jaws outstretched, trying to use Dezba’s own momentum to clamp down on the younger she-wolf’s neck.
