So... you've probably noticed that posts have been slow for a while now, and I think that a formal announcement is long overdue.

The truth is, I've been struggling with muse and mental health things for quite some time, but I've been reluctant to take a step back. This place is, after all, my safe haven. I've been here for 3 and a half years without being away for longer than a week, at least not willingly. There have been lulls, and there have been quiet times and times when the site's been down, but pretty much, when the site's running smoothly, I'm here, and I have been since the 8th of December 2015.

But, as we've started planning our wedding, and the pressures IRL are amping up, I've started to realise that there are just too many things going on. I have dreams that I want to follow and the energy I'm putting into posts, I'd like to put towards other creative things. And, I feel like the things I'm putting forward right now are only halfhearted; it'd be a disservice to all of you guys for me to keep forcing it.

I won't be gone forever, don't get me wrong; and I'm still gonna be around in the discord. But I think it's time I take a step back, take some deep breaths, and let things move on.

Livius has sensed something wrong; they will be going into hibernation shortly, and will be handing over the mantle of King to Pride until they reawaken in the coming cycles. I would love to have closing threads with each of the characters they have known and loved, but at this point I'm simply too spent. However, if you would like to draw, or write out a (non-canon) last scene with our characters, feel free to post them below. I'll be lurking onsite, and checking back often.

I will be keeping up with GM duties as needed, but once everything is finished, I'll be stepping down. For now, at least. I'll hopefully be returning to my usual duties once everything cools down, and my muse comes back!

And finally, I just want to say, thank you all for everything. The good times, the bad, and all the things which have made my time here so special. The curiosity and intrigue gave me a reason to join this place, but it was all you that gave me a reason to stay.
