The little mongoose nodded her head. "Exactly!" She said when the little one managed to sound out her longer and more complicated full name. Patiently she waited while the other seemed to be deep in thought about her own identity. It was fine, the little creature had all the time in the world to wait. Besides, more time burnt meant that she had more time to wait on the supposed bear which she was certain was made up. Stupid, cute leopard.

Finally, the little one piped up with a name. Fleur de Lis. "Fancy! See? I told ya there was a longer name in there. You're too special not to have one." The mongoose let out a laugh and lightly smacked the little one over the back in a fond, comradely sort of way. "But remember... these are our special names. No callin' me Diamondfang in front 'a others an' I won't call you Fleur-de-Lis either. We'll only use'em when around each other, capiche?" With that she rose to her paws. "I think you oughta come with me t'Monoceros. That's where the Merrymen live. You can meet the others an everythin' else. There's the Fire, an Louie, and Magsie. They'll love ya!" Or tolerate her so long as she served her purpose which Fang would be sure that she did. After all, who would be a better tutor than the Queen of Thieves herself?

"So, would ya like t'come with me?"

Fleur stumbled a bit with the backslap, blushing hot under her white fluff and staring at Diamondfang with what could be described as hearts in her eyes. You're too special not to have one. Special? No-one had ever called her special before, and certainly not a Queen! Dazed, the skunk tuned back in to what her new friend was actually saying, and nodded slowly with her words. "Fang... no... diamond. Got it," Fleur promised with another pink and shiny grin. Trying to reign in her probably glaringly obvious need to garner more of the mongoose's compliments, she tried to look more serious, furrowing her brow and huffing.

"Mon. O. Ceros?" It certainly sounded like an important, special place, and the tiny ball of fluff's long tail began to wave, rounded ears perking up. "Come. With?" She nodded eagerly, teeth clacking together, patting tiny paws on the ground restlessly. "Fleur. Go with Fang?" Fleur could barely believe it - first she met someone so nice that they actually thought she was special, then it turned out they were a Queen, and now she wanted to take her to her friends? The skunk could barely contain her excitement, persistent jaw pain all but forgotten.

Still, there was one thing she needed to make sure of. "Flor-ence. Brother. He go later, too?" After all, the bird was the only other living creature she'd met, and she wasn't willing to give him up - that was, if she could actually find him again.

The little one was eating it all up, she could tell. Her second blind follower and it felt great! "That's right! Come one, let's head off and get you initiated." The tiny queen lowered herself down to all fours and prepared to scurry away but was stopped by the next question. She looked over her shoulder at the skunk, head tilting to the side. She had no idea who this Florence was but he could always cast in with the Merrymen if he proved his worth. "Sure! The more the merrier... guess that's why we call ourselves Merrymen." With a laugh she was off, expecting the little one to follow her.

Satisfied, Fleur trotted after Diamondfang with a grin, long tail flowing behind her. Now she just had to prove to the Queen that she was useful, that she could provide something in return for the gifts the mongoose had already given her. The skunk knew she wasn't big, or intimidating, or beautiful, no matter what her teacher said, so that threw a few things out of the window. On the flip side, Fleur would do anything, anything, to keep being fed this stream of niceties, and so she followed onwards, ears lowered, determined to keep the interest of the Queen - whatever way she could.
