As he wove each flower together, he shifted them in the dirt in front of him so that it would sit before Arkrael, available for her to begin work on. There was a sensation of hesitation in the wolf that Leon could feel, occasionally flicking his eyes up to her as he worked. He could understand the nervousness - after all, this would be the first run of crystallizing the flower crown, a gift for Leon's sweetheart. But even if it had gone wrong, Leon could always go and grab more flowers - they'd probably end up migrating to the flower patch. Once he was done, he let the wolf handle the crown, sitting back and watching.
His friend began to work her magic, and he could see the opal gleaming, feel the magic swelling and crawling tangible through the atmosphere. The bear leaned forward to watch the thin blue crystal grow along the surface of the flowers, encasing the petals and entwined stems in glassy shades. Subtle detailing crawled along the stone, and he watched as the image of ivy embossed in the crystal over the base of the crown, elegant and royal curls adorning the top of the crown, until at last it was revealed: a beautiful crystal crown forged aroun preserved flowers. It was a beautiful treasure, and Leon awed at what his friend had created. "It's beautiful!" He exclaimed, reaching for the crown only to hesitate, paws hovering over the object as if afraid that touching it would shatter the thing.
Carefully, Leon picked up the crown and examined it. "No Arkrael, it's absolutely perfect." He answered, wide eyed. The crown wasn't so much a casual apparel as it was for fancy occasions - but that would work just as well, even better for what he had in mind, actually. He was tempted to try it on his own head, but instead held it out to Arkrael. "Would you try it on? I'd like to see how it sits!" Leon laughed.
@Arkrael (if ark says yea, you can pp Leon putting the crown on her head :P)

There was no amount of joy Arkrael could express outside of her tail wagging to and fro behind her over the fact Leon was happy with the turn out of the crown. Her gaze lingered over the gorgeously shaped crown as Leon moved to pick it up. He was tentative at first, unsure whether he wanted to pick it up and risk shattering it, but Arkrael knew that gem would hold up to even being tossed about. When Leon lifted the crown towards her Arkrael was first a little stunned before the emotion slowly faded into a soft acknowledgement. She gave a curt nod to his request before she dipped her head down to allow the placement of the crown atop her head.
When the cool surface of it rested on her, Arkrael lifted her head up rather proudly and turned her gaze up as if to get a look at it. Audits twitched and swiveled about as she test how it felt to hold the crown. It seemed a little big for her head, but she knew it would probably fit on his beloved much better as it were solely designed for her. "So?" She began as she dropped her gaze to Leon having given up trying to attempt looking at it herself, "how's it look?"

Leon leaned forward and placed the crown on her head, withdrawing so that he could get a better look at it. It indeed looked a little too big for his friend's head, but Makyna was a little big bigger than her, and her head was broader - it should fit perfectly on her. Even so, he wondered if the weight would be too much for her, but it seemed like Arkrael could raise her head with no issue at all. As the wolf turned back to him, he brightened up and smiled. "It looks great!" He answered and reached forward once more to pluck the crown from her head, examining it and rolling over the details embossed in the crystal again. "She's going to love this! It's so pretty, Ark, thank you so much." The bear couldn't keep the grin from his face. This present was going to be the icing on the cake; it was going to make everything perfect, and he couldn't wait until he could give it to Makyna and see her wear it.
In the mean time, however, Leon placed the crown in front of him and reached into his armpit. There, the bracelet he'd crafted for Arkrael was still tied into his fur. After some tugging (and pulling a clump of fur out in the process), Leon freed the bracelet from his hide and presented it to her. "I- I made this for you, as thanks for helping me." He admitted and chuckled again. Leon had hoped that she'd help him from the get-go. It was a shard from an opal chrysalis much like hers, perhaps even Arkrael's own chrysalis that he had harvested it from, and it held to it a warm golden glow. The bracelet was made of tied root, and hopefully it would last, because that was all that Leon had to make it from.

His joy made Arkraels grin grow even more as her tail thumped almost loudly against the ground. She dipped her head down and gave a quick bow of her head, "Glad to have been able to assist." Her head lifted and she still wore that broad, happy grin. She was so pleased that be was very happy with the item. Her head tilted to the side as Leon moved to grab something from beneath his arm.
As the small, glowing gem came into view Arkrael's eyes widened just the slightest. Her heart thudded heavily in her chest as she stared intently at the object. She opened her mouth to say something, to say anything as she felt the sense of familiarity as her gaze lingered on the gem. She had though all of the shards from her chrysalis had been lost to the golem. All but the single chunk Tamelyn had rescued that was now safely hidden from everyone.
"I couldn't thank you enough," she breathed out, her voice quivering with a multitude of emotions. The sensations that wrapped around her, filling her with the shaky relief as she turned her gaze up to Leon was a little overwhelming and if she did not know any better she would assume her eyes may have watered slightly. Her gem had been precious to her. From the moment she fell from the cavern wall along with the splintered shards that had covered the cavern floor. The devastation she had felt to have lost her chrysalis to those vile golems. Her smile reached her eyes and she could not find her voice any further than thanking him for such a gift.
Tentatively she reached out and grasped the bound roots, her fangs ever so gently grasping onto it to pull it to her. It took her a moment to ponder on where she should put it, but soon settled with setting it to the ground and very gently eased her left paw into it until it was secure around her ankle. She studied it again, brimming to the top with the plethora of emotions that had caught her off guard. Finally she turned her gleaming eyes up to Leon and could do nothing but grin, "Truly I thank you. I had thought I had lost all of u chrysalis to the golems..."

Leon kept a close eye on the wolf as he revealed the gift he had made for her. It delighted him even more to watch her expression change from simple delight to heavy emotion, a deep relief and something that looked like both sadness and happiness at the sight of the shard. Leon handed it off to her, his own smile lingering. At first, he couldn't understand just why Arkrael seemed so touched by the gift. Of course he'd be just as happy to have received such a gift, but he hadn't known about what happened to the golems. So he watched her as she put it on, securing it around her ankle before turning back up at him and smiling. Finally, an explanation: she believed that her chrysalis had been lost to the golems. To this, Leon arched his brows in surprise. They were known to consume shards of chrysali - to add them to their own collection of stones. Maybe they had missed this shard.
The bear let loose a small laugh. "Well, I guess they forgot a piece." Was all he could manage to say. He didn't know why this one piece of chrysalis remained, only that it must have belonged to her. The way she looked at it with homesick familiarity, it was the same feeling he felt every time he passed through the tunnel he was born in, every time he saw those gleaming splinters of obsidian still lodged in the wall, settled quietly next to the lightning opal of his brother's. His brother... Rohan. The thought slipped away as quickly as it had come.
Leon settled back on his rump, admiring the glowing shard attached to the bracelet that she'd fastened around her ankle. "I'm glad you like it. From one friend to another." The bear's smile broadened. Before this, their friendship had been no more than a few words in passing every time they saw one another, and the mild sensation of comfort when needed. He hoped now though it would bring them closer; he appreciated her and her abilities, he really did. She was kind, and it was that sort of unbiased generosity that he felt he really needed, so unlike what he received from his groupmates - what felt forced and estranged. He pushed that out of his mind too, thinking back to his upcoming plans with Makyna. "Oh! I... I'd like to invite you to Pisces for a very special little event. With this crown, I plan on... ah, proposing?" Was that the word? It felt like the right word. He rubbed the back of his neck with a nervous laugh. "Proposing to Makyna. I want to have a little ceremony in Pisces, and I'd really like it if you could come." With that, Leon fiddled with his paws, eager for her answer.

The invitation presented to her cause another smile to reach her ears. Her tail thumped against the ground in a display of her joy. "I would be honored to attend," She answered softly. The sensations drawing at her being was soon taking it's toll as utter exhaustion began to slowly grip at her. Even as a master now she still found it exhausting to use those more skilled spells more than twice a day. With an attempted concealed yawn Arkrael turned a small grin to Leon. "I fear I must go rest now, Leon. I will be at your special event when it is ready to be started," She gave a promising nod before she slowly rolled up to all four paws, her new bracelet shifting with the movement. With one final smile the she-wolf turned and took her leave, heading for her secluded den that really wasn't too far away from this particular spot.

At her agreement to attend the event, Leon smiled and nodded. He was happy that she'd agree - and maybe it meant that even more would show up. He could only imagine how happy Makyna would be to see all the people attending their wedding - assuming she agreed to it, but he couldn't see why she wouldn't. Oh, of course she would! The bear climbed to his feet as Arkrael stifled a yawn and excused herself. "Okay! Thanks again Arkrael! I'll see you there." He said after her, waving her away. Now, the bear had a new treasure to give. He gently grasped the crown in his jaws and turned away, lumbering back towards the entrance of the jungle room - and towards the snowy tunnel he'd first met Makyna.
